I visited this store the other day with a friend to shop for a gift. We had been browsing for about…read more30 minutes, and my friend had even used the fitting room, when an employee approached us and informed us that the store has a "no bag policy." This was never mentioned when we entered, and I have honestly never encountered a policy like that before. We were asked to hand over our purses, which were then taken to the front of the store while we continued shopping. When it came time to check out, the cashier asked whether I was paying with credit or debit. After I said credit, I was told I had to show my ID in order to use my credit card. Between having my purse taken and then being asked for identification just to complete my purchase, I felt like I was being treated with suspicion the entire time. It was an incredibly uncomfortable shopping experience. Afterward, I spoke with several people who have shopped at this store multiple times, and they told me they have never been told about or experienced a "no bag policy." If this policy does exist, it should be clearly communicated to every customer upon entering, not enforced after they've already been shopping for half an hour. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I don't plan on returning.

I wasn't going to make the next day and decided to call and ask how much delivery was and how soon I could get my furniture if I picked it up myself Delivery was free but not till two days. Once they even got together a donation for my sons school on very short notice!! This store had many great things I have come across over the last couple of years. They have lots of educational placemats (we use those for learning in our household. They also have fossil kits.... which my son loves, being that he wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up.... we have also found many other fossil type toys, books, or educational items. They have a lot of school supplies (think elementary school teacher.) Many borders & themes to help decorate the classroom. They also have girl scout badges, books, and whatnot (I really don't know anything about girl scouts, I just see the goodies there.) The science kits they have are whats on my sons wish list. He loves science and wants just about every kit in there. He also loves books. We do "worksheets" daily at home. Learning essentials has books that are great for getting the worksheets from.
