What an amazing RV park! Everyone working here was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The park itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and the pond actually has fish, which made for a great way to relax. What impressed me the most was how the staff constantly went out of their way to help us whenever we needed anything. That level of customer service is hard to find these days. I couldn't be more impressed with this RV park. It absolutely deserves 5 out of 5 stars, and I would highly recommend it to anyone passing through the area! read more

Very disappointed in this park! The website's home page promotes the park as "Where Nature And Relaxation Meet", and uses words like "Country Bliss". A reviewer said it was "quiet and peaceful". This does not sound like the same park we stayed at. A 2-way railroad track runs directly behind this park with whistle- blowing trains running every 15 minutes to 1 hour throughout the day and night so we could not get any sleep! The opposite side of the park is bounded by a noisy I75. When I complained to Naomi in the office, she cheerfully said I understand, cancelling and refunding our remaining nights. I also remarked that their website is deceiving because it never mentions the park's proximity to train tracks and the interstate while over- stating its tranquility! read more

Let me start with the staff. They were great. Friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, that's where the experience then falls apart. The campsites are small. And I mean SMALL. If we put our awning out it covered our neighbor's electric and sewer hook ups. Literally, we can not put out our carpet and chairs. The picnic table that is provided can not be placed on level ground. As I toured around the campground, I found more than 90% of the sites to be like ours and some are worse. And to make all of that worse, there is a freight train line that runs right along the edge of the property that has a train coming through about every two hours 24/hrs. a day. It seems as though this campground was thrown together to capture those who come to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. That was the first question they asked us. The campground has potential if they rebuild the sites that were simply thrown together. read more

This RV park is super clean and very pretty. The have a beautiful catch and release pond with a fountain and gazebo. A nice grassy and clean dog park, laundry and showers. Activities for the family. Had Saturday evening pizza and nachos. They are really great about making sure to text you updates such as bad weather in the area and everyone was super nice. We will come back. They are also very close to the Ark Encounter which was an amazing and awe inspiring adventure. read more

This site is awesome! Easy to locate off the freeway. Awesome view of the trains and fireflies. The kiddos loved the playground. I love the bird feeders, tons of beautiful birds to watch. Laundry room was epic. Showers were clean. Full hook ups. read more

I do not recommend this RV Park. We had expressly reserved a pull thru site when we got there they had none so had to take a back end. Not only are the sites unlevel but who in there right mind would put an RV park right next to the train tracks. The first time we heard the whistle blow was when we got out of our RV it was absolutely ear piercing. Because we came from Nevada to see the Arc we had no choice but to stay. Nowhere on their website did it mention the railroad tracks. Our tracks were only 65 feet from our site. The trains come thru all day & nite and blow their whistle. The Pictures of the park are misleading. Don't waste your money! read more

So happy we ended up at this park. The staff are the nicest, most helpful people. The kids' park is awesome. The grounds are beautiful, with a color changing fountain in the pond and a family of geese. The sunsets are gorgeous. I'm VERY happy with this RV park. read more

The noise from the many overnight trains that are required to blow their whistles (4 times each!) overrides any small charm this park may have. Earplugs and noise cancelling headphones are worthless against this onslaught. The other side of the park is as bad, you can still hear the train plainly, plus the semi trucks on the highway. No refunds for any reason. read more

Based upon the true hospitality of the staff I recommend this campground. The campground is just south of Cincinnati. It allows you to take part in Cincinnati sports or even take a trip to the Ark exhibit. I can't say enough about the genuine hospitality shown by the staff. Friendly!!! read more

Our site was so steep and on gravel we couldn't come close to leveling our travel trailer. The campground had no other site for us. Our friends traded sites with us because they had a shorter 5th wheel but they had to pull thru backwards to be able to level it. On one side of the campground is an Interstate. On the other side is a train track. The trains come about once an hour blowing the horn and you also hear the wheels squealing on the tracks. We had rain so there was a large mud puddle right at our front steps. It wasnt advertised but my friend learned they sell ear plugs at the office. Never again will I stay here. read more

Rvs BEWARE, this park was, the worst we stayed in on our 4,700 mile trip this month. The ARK was amazing, and the reason we picked this park, due to the location. The trains blew their whistles so often, that sleeping was impossible. The sites were either uphill or downhill and we had our choice. SO bad, we could not stay another night. When I went to the office and reported that the site is unacceptable, and we would be leaving, we were informed they did not issue refunds, very RUDELY, I will add. We have stayed in 100's of rv parks since 2005, and this ranks in the top 5 worst. It is such a shame that to see the Amazing ARK, this is a choice for overnight accommodations. read more

The park was nicely maintained with quality fire rings and tables. The roads were easy to travel and check in was easy. We arrived after hours and a map and site was provided for our stay. We stayed 3 nights while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The campground was centrally located for these attractions. Our site was terribly located next to the interstate Highway and the traffic was loud and continuous. We were in site 50 so the traffic noise never lessened. We were not able to level our camper due to the sloped site. Other sites appeared level but ours was not. If we were to stay here again, we would request a site away from the interstate Highway and one that was somewhat level. The rating of 2 stars reflected the campground not designing a noise wall of some sort nor making sure that the sites were somewhat level. If the campground made these 2 updates, they would show their commitment for a quality stay. read more

Lovely park that with a couple of tweaks would be terrific! Lots of shade trees, rolling hills, playground for the kiddos, good laundry room. One of the only parks in the area with full hook ups! Catch and release fishing pond. Very convenient to area attractions - The Ark and Creation Museum. Dollar stores and Walmart close by. Three things to be mindful of: 1. Site was slightly unlevel (one of our wheels was off the ground. Several other rv had to add extra boards and bricks to aid their jacks.) 2. The TRAIN! On the front side of the park (where we were) it sounds like it's coming in the rv with you and blows the whistle constantly at all times of day and night. This is not under the parks control but needs to be noted so people are forewarned. The back side of the park may be totally different. 3. Exiting the park, you pull out onto the road in a blind curve with traffic going full speed. This really needs to be addressed as traffic and RVers increase! Pretty park, very tranquil....until the train goes by. read more

The sites are a nightmare to try and level your camper. We tried for 45 minutes & finally gave up. Tried to find the manager to see if we could get a different site & they were nowhere to be found so we pulled out & left a voice message asking for a refund to our credit card or we would deny charges. BTW most of the other campers were hiked up on several piles of blocks of wood, bricks, etc. it looked very cartoonish. We then found Whispering Hills RV Park even closer to our destination, The Ark Encounter, & it was a dream come true. Also did dinner at Texas Roadhouse! Delish!! read more

nice and clean, reasonably priced, helpful staff, many sites require extra effort to get level, no cable TV, WiFi worked ok, didn't use showers or laundry as we only made an overnight stop, beautiful trees, nestled between an Interstate and a railroad line so constant noise present although muffled by the trees. read more
