I was told the problem areas in an exit interview and given some stretching tips to help alleviate the pain! Some backstory: I'd been traveling for the past week and was overexerting myself. A 2.5 hrs into a 5 hr drive passing through Duluth I was in a lot of pain. I'm very thankful to have thus last minute appointment, like 20 min before it started! I was treated to cucumber water, sitting in a pleasantly decorated and calm waiting area. She was very thorough, and I especially loved the deep pressure on my arms and legs--it felt amazing and really worked out the tension. The only downside was that the pressure on my shoulders, upper back, and neck was much too strong for me. I tried asking for lighter pressure, but unfortunately there was a language barrier, and my request wasn't understood. Because of that, those parts of the massage became uncomfortable instead of relaxing. If you enjoy very deep-tissue massages, you may really like this place. Just be aware that if you prefer lighter pressure, communication may be difficult if there's a language barrier. Overall, I think they work hard and offer great value for the price, but I wish the pressure could have been adjusted when I asked.
