I had a very good massage today by Nick. He was very attentive to my needs! Not only did Nick have the knowledge of how all the muscles are connected, but was also able to feel out and work the problem areas. I was told the problem areas in an exit interview and given some stretching tips to help alleviate the pain! Some backstory: I'd been traveling for the past week and was overexerting myself. A 2.5 hrs into a 5 hr drive passing through Duluth I was in a lot of pain. I'm very thankful to have thus last minute appointment, like 20 min before it started! I was treated to cucumber water, sitting in a pleasantly decorated and calm waiting area. I only had 30 minutes with Nick, who, but in such little time, managed to get me right enough to make the rest of my journey. Thank you! read more

On a last minute whim I decided to get a massage. Eagles Nest was able to get me an appointment next day and I'm so glad they did! The space is lovely, and the staff are sweet and caring. First, couldn't get a street parking spot nearby so I had to walk a couple of blocks and it was freezing. It's on a busy street too so I wasn't feeling relaxed and that's before getting inside. Once I was inside I wasn't even greeted and I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome because it's such a small space I should have been able to get great customer service but I did not. I arrived early for my appointment, but didn't get into a massage room until 15 minutes after what I booked so it cut my time. Then you have to have a "meeting" with the person about everything which I didn't want to do. I signed a paper and circled my areas that hurt and usually that's enough. I felt so uncomfortable all I wanted to do was leave and I should've. I paid for 90 minutes and maybe got 25 minutes of the worst massage of my entire life. It wasn't consistent he forgot to do the same things from one side to the next side and I circled my feet on the sheet and talked about it yet he literally didn't spend any time there. Seriously worst massage I've gotten in my entire life and I'll never go back. Also way too expensive for how much time I got out of my supposed "90 minute booking" read more

I went there for my first massage, and the staff were very welcoming. The atmosphere is peaceful, which made me feel relaxed even before my session started. My massage therapist Megan B did a great job at going over what she would be doing during my session and answering the questions I had before we started. Afterward I felt so relaxed and replenished. Quaint, cute house that has you take your shoes off upon entering. Natalie is an amazing masseuse. I arrived late but she still used the entirety of the 30 minutes with me. She listened to my specific problem areas and focused on those. Then, she let me know some additional areas she thought I should get work on and it definitely loosened my muscles! After the massage she gave me a stretching sheet, and explained what the culprit my upper back muscles hurting, and gave me a plan of action. Much appreciated great customer service and if I lived in Duluth id come back frequently. Only changes is recommend is having your guy at the front smile :) and have your rooms dark as I'm not a fan of light during a massage. read more

I was going through some back issues and thought a massage might help. The choices in Duluth aren't great, but Eagles Nest was at the top. I'm glad I went. A very serene setting inside. Everyone was friendly. The therapists took time to understand what I was looking to accomplish, and their technique achieved that and more. I left feeling far healthier and more relaxed. After having 4 massages at Eagle's Nest, I am not satisfied. My first massage was an amazing experience; however, 2 of the 3 after that left me in more pain then when I walked in. The first time that happened, the manager called me and scheduled a complimentary appointment that left me feeling amazing. Then on my most recent appointment, I felt no relief and was in more pain, and was told the manager would call me but never did. They failed to follow through and left me in pain. Massage at Eagles Nest is always reliably good. The ambience is peaceful. I love the comfy chairs, tea and fireplace while you wait. I've had lots of massages there and many other places and though my experiences have all been good, I find it sometimes frustrating that they have a rapid turnover of therapists. Once you find someone you like, trust and want to continue...oh, they've moved on. Still, you can always leave relaxed and refreshed. read more

This place is beautiful and serene. The receptionist was friendly and nurturing. I was offered tea and water. The therapist was lovely. It was nice to not be rushed. They have designed it that way--they give an hour for a half hour appointment which is needed. I got a really good massage and she asked for feedback during and afterwards. They are on the pricey side, but it's a "get what you pay for" situation as it is so much more relaxing than anywhere else I have gotten a massage. Great massage! Came from Texas and had Deb, who was lovely. They seem to have a good mix of aroma therapy options, which I took advantage of. Beautiful place, very clean. I especially loved the chairs in the waiting room which are leather with foot rests. I liked that they didn't try to force me to buy their products, which is very common these days.
