My official due date was March 24th it was surreal I could hardly believe it was happening... I was able to rest a bit and take it easy till around 3:30 pm when my contractions started. They came on fast and furious but I was able to manage the pain with my AMAZING HUSBAND BY MY SIDE!!! my mom and best friend also helped me through each contraction as they kept getting closer together and lasting longer each time... I can not explain how my body was in full control and I was just along for the ride... at around 9 pm our midwife arrived at that point I had just started to feel the pressure to push. Diane Schaub our midwife empowered both my husband and I to feel confident in our decision to have a home birth I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for the ultimate special experience that birthing your child at home provides. All I can say is - I don't know why anyone goes to a hospital!! Before baby arrival - Amanda made me feel like a human being, not a baby production factory. I never had to deal with an underpaid front desk staff - I always had direct contact with her. She took time for all my questions, never made me do extra, or coerced me to do something. When I was late or needed to reschedule there was never a late or cancelation fee, just understanding that I was a busy person. During and after delivery- I made all the choices, I was allowed to follow the flow of my body, and Amanda just gave me confidence I needed. She of course had all of the expertise to keep me safe, but she never made me feel belittled or like I couldn't do it - which was the experience I had during my hospital delivery. So all in all - she helped me have the perfect delivery experience! I felt empowered by what my body could do, in the comfort of my own home, and had a healthy baby.

I have never met a provider that has and shows genuine compassion to her patients like she has shown me over the years. Her knowledge and transparency helps me maneuver my health decisions. She's a God send in my life and over saw my last pregnancy. Unfortunately this office doesn't offer OB care, but I'm done having any more kids. They will refer you if you do need OB care. My most recent visit was today. There was an unavoidable hiccup with scheduling. Some customer service would have been nice from the office. I'm a loyal customer/patient and was told that I had to be rescheduled without a blink; although it was a lose lose situation. Of course I was frustrated, but thankfully Dr. Rajamand was able to get me in and out. My only recommendation would be to avoid incidents like today is get on top of the program that sends emails. My appointment was made last year and had it not come through my old email, I would have missed it. Thank you always Dr. Rajamand; I am grateful for your diligent care. See you back in a few months!

I live in Sacramento, CA, so I already knew I'd be paying out of pocket. My first appointment was charged to my card the day before, which was completely fine. However, I kept receiving bills saying I still owed money. When I called, I was told not to worry because those charges would "fall off" my account since I was a self-pay patient. Well, they never did, and I continued receiving bills showing an outstanding balance. At my first appointment, the doctor was running late and told me I needed to repeat my bloodwork, even though I had just had it done about two months earlier. That was frustrating, but I agreed. She told me the lab orders would be sent to Labcorp. Because the bloodwork had to be done while I was on my period, I had to wait an entire month before I could schedule the appointment. When I finally arrived at Labcorp during the required time, they told me they had never received the lab orders from the office. I immediately called the office, and Mackenzie at the front desk answered. She was rude, dismissive, and acted like helping me was an inconvenience. Instead of trying to solve the problem, she simply said she couldn't send the orders herself and would have to ask the medical assistant. While I was waiting, Labcorp called the office directly. I then overheard Mackenzie tell them that she had instructed me to "come another day" because she didn't know if the orders could be sent that day. That was completely false. She never told me to come back another day. Had she actually communicated that to me, I would have explained that I couldn't simply come back because my doctor specifically instructed me that the bloodwork had to be done while I was on my period. Her lack of communication, poor attitude, and terrible customer service turned an already frustrating situation into an unnecessarily stressful one. Front desk staff are often the first impression of a medical practice, and unfortunately Mackenzie's attitude reflected very poorly on the office. Between the ongoing billing issues, disorganization, poor communication, and the unprofessional customer service I received, this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've had with a medical office. I really wanted this practice to work out because of all the positive reviews, but my experience has been the complete opposite. Because of everything that's happened, I will not be returning to this office and will be looking for a new provider. I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience.

I was recommended by another friend who used her services and from our first meet and greet, I knew she was a great fit. This was my 2nd home birth and I knew I wanted to try a new midwife with my 2nd pregnancy. Tiffany is attentive, real, extremely supportive and knowledgeable. Home birth is about choice, power, safety, spiritual, honoring the birther and child. Tiffany touched on all these and so much more. She delivered the facts, research and left the choices to the parents. From a young adult, I knew I wanted a home birth. After watching the "The Business of Being Born" it solidified my desire. Then covid happened and I was sold on home birth. Now, I can't imagine having gone through labor and birth with the restrictions of a hospital. The last experience pushed me to try something new this time. And I'm so incredibly grateful. Tiffany gave me all the information to questions I asked in a very non-biased way. She gives you lots of time at appointments and is so easy to talk to. She lent me books to read and helped me feel empowered that I could have exactly the birth I wanted. When I had prodromal labor after my due date she came to my home for a non stress test and predicted that the cord was around the neck and suggested getting monitored at the hospital just to be sure everything was ok and that baby could withstand birth at home. She didn't take any unnecessary risks. The birth was at home, calm and perfect - even better than I had hoped (and Tiffany was right - the cord was loosely around the neck). She connected me with Meredith at Nourish Nevada - the most amazing lactation group that has blessed my life after 4 failed breastfeeding experiences with my others. She recommended an amazing pelvic floor therapist that helped my birth be amazing and my recovery even better. I'm actually mourning that this is my last baby because I'm finally surrounded by this incredible team of women who know how to help you have the best experience with birth, have a strong body, feed your baby like a pro and feel so proud of yourself and what your body can do. I can't express how much I wish I had found Tiffany and my team sooner. But better late than never I suppose.

She gave my husband so much knowledge into how best to support me, in a way where the intimacy of the moment was strengthened and not hindered in any way. She also gave my husband much needed breaks and even brought us delicious food when energy needed to be sustained I will never forget how incredible this experience was. When you've had a couple of difficult birth experiences, you just want that redeemed, and that is exactly what she gave us.

My labor was off to a very slow start and I was 9 days overdue, and she helped me talk through some fears that were holding me back. Once that was done labor got moving! At the hospital she was wonderful at working with the nurses and helping have the birth environment I wanted. When I was pacing the halls she walked with me, and the only thing that helped me with the strong contractions was dancing through them...and she danced with me through every contraction so I didn't feel silly and alone. No notices of time frames for shots. window about a hour within the 12 hours. stressed if we were 15 minutes late, did shots in the car. shots can be mixed in advance, up to 30 days IVF cycle: When time for the trigger shot, allie and ray explained the process but it needed clarity. last ultrasound on Friday, blood draw sat and egg retrieval sun. This last minute schedule is difficult with coming from out of state. big frustration is all medications not used are wasted. The office had us Order a certain amount (one size fits all amount), which was too much, so we have an extra $1500 worth of medications. mock cycle + to length of process. expect about a month for each mock cycle and transfer, assuming all things go smooth. Dec: confusion over some + meds & appts. new med added on day of transfer, so hard to track down meds be4 a holiday. Mad alternatives discussed now rather than prior. during the IVF process you can consent to donate your embryos. we thought it would help another couple who didn't retrieve many eggs. Sarah took time to meet with us and get to know us before offering her suggestion of which team of doulas might match best. I felt so comfortable with Gianna and Sierra from our very first meeting, and really appreciated how they supported us with two people, opening up options for support during labor and delivery. They provided so many resources and information, and were available for any questions at all which meant so much to me, again, having so much unknown my first time. Gianna ended up being there to actually see me through the labor and delivery. I wasn't sure what to expect, but she came when I felt I really started to need extra support and I cannot IMAGINE having done it without her. She helped me through the hardest parts and helped me feel so supported and safe; she gave me what I needed at points when I didn't know I needed it. Her gentle and calm presence and, even at times laughing with her made such a difference in my laboring. It also was a huge help to my partner and allowed him to take care of things that needed to be while she supported me. She stayed until well after the birth, and even helped wash and clean the sheets and helped my daughter and I with our first breast meeting! When I had a lot of anxiety surrounding breast feeding issues after, Sierra answered so many questions for me that were helpful and at the postpartum visit, they answered so many questions I couldn't have anticipated. They were both an integral part of this miraculous journey and I am forever grateful. I highly recommend either of them if you want extra support and if I ever have another baby I'll be calling them again.
