Very high on their rental prices! Shop around! They will also keep your deposit! BEWARE!read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would... I'll start…read moreoff by saying they were being super nice about me and my boyfriend moving in.. super helpful and seemed like a decent place. We moved in and we're promised certain things would be fixed in our apartment. WRONG! Worst property management place ever. Abigail is rude and has a disgusting attitude.. for what reason but she makes this place unwelcoming. The property "manager" of the office named David is never there and never returns calls or messages. Our glass shower doors were broken, we had no light in our kitchen, bugs, blinds were broken, writing on the walls, I found a pair of underwear with feces on it behind our washer and dryer in our apartment, broken water heater for 5-6 days. I spent vigorous hours cleaning up our apartment from the writing on the walls to the horrible smell in our place. I called and because they dropped something off at our place for us to sign and explained how I put in a maintenance request in weeks ago and they haven't done a thing. The girl Melissa was a rude and fought with me the entire time about how I was mad. They finally sent someone out to fix our stuff and the glass shower doors were extremely dangerous and the guy they sent out was extremely shocked that they weren't fixed before we moved in and how much of a hazard it was using the doors. The sent out someone for our lights that were finally fixed. When they promised they would spray for bugs they sent out their property manager who came into my house while I was asleep without knocking or ringing the door bell. I woke up to him in my house doing his thing, creepy! I was extremely disturbed after this. Then our water heater broke and they didn't accommodate us and left us with no hot water for 5-6 days. I'm pretty sure that's illegal.. This place is total trash and David isn't there half the time. Thank god our property got bought out because if I owned a property and let these fools run it they'd just run it to the ground. This is a terrible rental company.. I've had to go as far as calling their corporate office and their manager of their office in Reno to get them to do something about our water heater. Save yourself time, stress & headaches from renting from this 0 star rental company. The most disgustingly rude and unprofessional rental company in the entire valley!

Not too big into writing negative stuff but I feel like people should know to keep an eye out for…read morethis company. Housing in the area is slim so when I found a house I loved and got approved for, I was super excited. I'll leave out the run around of going back and forth from their office, seeing houses multiple times because they have no clue if there was ac or just basic knowledge of their rentals... because that's not even the worst part. I called the company the day after viewing and let them know I was going to come that day and drop off the security deposit. The assistant I spoke with said perfect, everything was in order. I inquired about the lease length because it's not listed anywhere and nobody ever bothered to tell me. They say 1 year, I said that's fine but could you ask if they'd be open to a shorter lease? She said she would ask, but it would be unlikely. I said that's okay, it doesn't hurt to ask right? I made it very clear we'd be alright with a 1-year lease. Less than an hour later after I informed my current landlord we found a spot and withdrew the security deposit, the assistant calls me and says that my application has been changed to denied because the homeowner is looking for a longer lease. Wait what? I said we can do a year lease. They said they'd call me back no matter what to let me know the definite status after talking to the homeowner but it's out of their hands. I even offered to talk to the homeowner myself. What kind of disconnected conversation did this agency have with the homeowner to give them the idea I NEEDED a shorter lease that would cause them to pull their approval? Move forward to the next day, and the house is back up on their site with a new "longer lease available" on the listing. The best part? I never received that call back. What an absolutely horrible company. If you do decide to deal with them, please keep things well documented or record your phone conversations. I'm still so upset and dumbfounded as to how such a huge miscommunication could've happened regarding something as important as housing.

This company was purchased by Chase International so technically Lynne Cauley Property Management…read moreno longer exists. However, the same manager from before is still running the Gardnerville office of Chase International, a regional PM firm popping up in many cities. I am a property owner, and terminated the contract as they did not meet my expectations in how I wanted my property managed. There are other choices in Gardnerville.
