The staff is always super friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. My husband and I love plants and go here for soil, pots and nutrients. We have never been disappointed with the products and weve been shopping here for about 6 years now. It's funny because I never imagined I'd be the kind of person who gets excited to go to a hardware store, yet here we are. I love shopping here and I love everyone who works here. You may pay a little extra for items but I promise you- the personal customer service and the fact that you'll never have to stand in line longer than 3 min- more than makes up for the price difference.

Wasn't sure where the rat poison was when a random employee asked if I needed any help. He said he wasn't sure as it was his first day but if he had to guess, it would be in the lawn and garden section and he pointed me in that direction. Yep. There it was, on the back wall with all the pesticides. They didn't have the huge bricks that kills them with one bite that I had before and was looking for but neither did the other hardware store that I went to. I got one of the few options that said KILLS RATS specifically one box and not just mice. Most of the boxes were opened and it seemed as though people were steaming packets out of the boxes. First time ordering online I order a 3/4in 2x4ft piece of plywood, the piece that arrived was completely warped with a large gap along a seem. I went in person to get a new piece and to have it cut. When I got the new cut piece it was six inches off from what I told them. Any way I gave several more attempts, where they often couldn't or wouldn't help me. Today I went back to buy and have more plywood cut and I waited a solid 20 minutes to get help at the saw which never arrived (even after asking the service twice). At which point I gave up and asked for a refund everything. Refunds seem to be the only thing they can actually do right. If you value your time, money, or even halfway customer service I would go anywhere else.

No complaints but they moved the bulbs to a different part of the store so I had to ask someone. The floor worker scanned the packing material for the bulb that I had before in her handheld device and brought me right to it. GREAT; and, they don't have as much riffraff as Walmart does if I were to go there to get the sane item.
