There's not a lot of hazards so play is fast. Definitely 4 hours or less. All the carts have GPS and they are well maintained. You can order food at the turn because the cart brings up the menu on hole 7. Very cool! The staff here is very friendly. The food is excellent with great brats and hot dogs. There's also an Irish pub that I didn't check out but will next time.

I've been to Boulder a few times and it is a pretty course, there is a lot of wetlands and water is in play quite often. There are wooden bridges and tressels throughout to connect you from tee box to fairway and hole to hole. I liked the tee shots that required a little imagination, you can't just let it fly on every hole or you'll be in trouble. They provide a course outline with yardage to hazards and tips and tricks. This was awesome to have and not available at a lot of courses that don't have GPS. There are a handful of holes you have to lay up or play a draw/fade in order to have a shot at birdie or par. The people here were perfectly friendly to our party, not sure what the EZlinks guy is talking about... They even gave us a coupon for a $28 round with cart during another visit, I thought that was awesome! We paid $42 on Memorial Day at 9am for 18 and a cart, pretty good deal in my opinion. I'd give 5 stars if it weren't for the bunkers, they needed a little work, of course I shouldn't have been in there anyways right? :)

Everyone had a smile and that definitely contributed to a fantastic atmosphere. The course had lots of terrain and mature trees but wasn't too punishing for novice golfers (90-110 scores) who only play a couple rounds per summer typically but are working to play more often. I would highly recommend making the drive during the summer and can only imagine the views in early fall with the river valley leaves. Finally it looks like the clubhouse / restaurant is set up to host events and wedding receptions with amazing views. We will be back as the views, course, and staff made the easy 1 hour drive from Eagan well worth it.

The course was clearly a farm at one time which led to beautiful views, rolling hills, and a lovely creek running through the property. Farm structures have been converted to golf buildings. The course has a lot of potential but needs a bit more maintenance. Most tee boxes were a bit rough. The back nine had some squishy areas. Many of the holes had blind shots which isn't my fav. As a twosome, we had plenty of time to drive ahead and check out where we should aim but it would be nice to see the pin more often. They had some nice landscaping areas and beautiful flowers. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape and greens were smooth and true. The back nine is more wooded and front nine more of a links style. We played 18 holes in just over 3 hours. I played from the yellow which was about 5000 yds. Staff was welcoming. Great experience. Our card gives us 3 more discounted rounds and we are planning on visiting again.
