Tee boxes were clean. Greens were smooth and very green. A bit of water and sand to add some additional challenges. We loved this course. It was in wonderful shape. Their clubhouse bar is cute as well, Angie's pub, if I remember right. We played with another twosome who was very pleasant, playing in just under 4 hours. Great experience.

I've been to Boulder a few times and it is a pretty course, there is a lot of wetlands and water is in play quite often. There are wooden bridges and tressels throughout to connect you from tee box to fairway and hole to hole. I liked the tee shots that required a little imagination, you can't just let it fly on every hole or you'll be in trouble. They provide a course outline with yardage to hazards and tips and tricks. This was awesome to have and not available at a lot of courses that don't have GPS. There are a handful of holes you have to lay up or play a draw/fade in order to have a shot at birdie or par. The people here were perfectly friendly to our party, not sure what the EZlinks guy is talking about... They even gave us a coupon for a $28 round with cart during another visit, I thought that was awesome! We paid $42 on Memorial Day at 9am for 18 and a cart, pretty good deal in my opinion. I'd give 5 stars if it weren't for the bunkers, they needed a little work, of course I shouldn't have been in there anyways right? :)

Everyone had a smile and that definitely contributed to a fantastic atmosphere. The course had lots of terrain and mature trees but wasn't too punishing for novice golfers (90-110 scores) who only play a couple rounds per summer typically but are working to play more often. I would highly recommend making the drive during the summer and can only imagine the views in early fall with the river valley leaves. Finally it looks like the clubhouse / restaurant is set up to host events and wedding receptions with amazing views. We will be back as the views, course, and staff made the easy 1 hour drive from Eagan well worth it.

Good food + a golf course view? I'll take it. I had the Crispy Chicken Salad, which was fresh, loaded with toppings, and had plenty of crispy chicken. I also tried the Double Cheeseburger, and both were great. Apparently I couldn't decide between eating a salad and eating a burger, so naturally I solved the problem by having both. My partner ordered one of the burgers topped with jalapeños, and he enjoyed his as well. Overall, we had a really nice lunch. Good food, great service, a beautiful setting, and a patio I would happily sit on again. We may have shown up for the restaurant this time, but someday we'll have to come back and actually bring the golf clubs!

Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape and greens were smooth and true. The back nine is more wooded and front nine more of a links style. We played 18 holes in just over 3 hours. I played from the yellow which was about 5000 yds. Staff was welcoming. Great experience. Our card gives us 3 more discounted rounds and we are planning on visiting again.

Considering all the rain we've had and the number of marshes on the course, there were very few squishy holes. It's held up to the rain quite nicely.
