I got set up with an in-house payment plan which made it a lot easier for me to afford the procedure. The staffs introduction to me when they entered the room made it even more friendly even if they were only there to assist with the procedure. Dr. Schneider was thorough with reviewing my X-rays and very informative with that I'll need done in the future and as to why. 5/5 for cleanliness of every area I was in, the kindness and patience they had for me as well as the thorough explanation of aftercare. I look forward to seeing them for any oral surgeries I'll have in the future. P.S. They've called me twice after the appointment to make sure everything was going well. They messed up my paperwork and made excuses for it, deflected and after 3 calls, 4 arguments and tears asking that they see me to address the paperwork, post op pain, brusies and concerns I had, they didn't agree until I told them I'd go get a second opinion which I was already getting to and they made it clear that regardless of the outcome (even if severe, mind you) that they would not update the paperwork. Sure enough, after being seen by someone else, it's said I now have severe bone trauma with sharp bones sticking out and piercing my gums, dry socket in 3 places an infection and I will need a referral for a 3DCBT scan. I'll be reporting them to the ND Board of Dental Examiners and I'm considering filing a lawsuit. All they had to do was see me without all of the catty back and forth, especially since I was never given a thorough post op report nor did the nurse that called me back the day after surgery note my concerns. They just noted me as fine, which I specifically said I wasn't, noted normal post op issues and marked me as coherent. But its ok. I have ALL of my conversations with them recorded as well as documentation proving what UNUM asked of them, which is for specific patient limitations and a diagnosis (not general best case scenarios), I have new referrals and notes from another provider that addresses their medical mistakes and my recordings with proof of their professional errors. Terrible, terrible service. And it's sad because the surgeon wasn't a bad guy.

Needless to say, I wasn't looking forward to what lay ahead. I called Dr. Spriggs. Katie schedued my appointment and even reminded me the day before. She is kind, helpful and professional. I arrived to find convenient free parking right in front. Once inside, Charlie took an x- ray and explained the procedure clearly. She is knowledgeable, pleasant, professional and answered all my questions easily. She calmed my nerves right away. Thx Charlie! After short examination, Dr. Spriggs confirmed the procedure and went to work, Charlie assisting. Here comes the good part. NO PAIN! ZERO! Before I knew it, he said, "That's it." Charlie took one more x-ray of the completed work and showed it to me. The whole thing took less than an hour and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr. Kent Spriggs, Charlie, Katie and all the staff!

They make it easy to schedule and get in but once the procedure is done, they want nothing to do with you. They make you seem bothersome whenever you call and the front desk lady is one of the most rude people I've ever spoken to. I woke up ten minutes into my procedure and the doctor refused to put me back to sleep, making me endure the pain and torture of having to feel my last two teeth violently broken and ripped from my jaw. All while the doctor is yelling at me to calm down while the nurses restrained me to the table. All because he didn't want to take an extra fifteen minutes out of his day to put me back to sleep. Talk about rushed. I left with incredible pain that lasted longer than two weeks with very little accommodations from the staff to get me the proper and right amount of pain meds needed. I also paid for a savings plan, but they threw so many numbers at me I'm not sure there were any discounts given. I had one tooth filled in May 2024 (terrible job--front tooth filling that doesn't match at all and has a ridge) and my next fillings were scheduled for 12-31-2024. Seriously...nearly 8 months to get a tooth filled??? I showed up for my 12-31 appointment and it was bad from the second I walked in the door. Before I could even take off my jacket, they made me pay $690+ for the services I was supposed to receive. Fine...whatever. But then they tried to take my blood pressure and it was a disaster! The BP cuff was so tight that it brought tears to my eyes, made me cry out in pain, and left bruises on my arm. After three tries, they said they couldn't give me anesthetic without a note from my doctor. I left having received NO services...and these con artists still put thru the $690+ charge on my credit card. It took me two months to get them to issue a refund. I found a new dentist and scheduled an exam/xrays, but decided to keep my cleaning appointment at Aspen in April. I checked in at the desk and was refused even a cleaning without a note from my doctor. I filled out the forms to have my records transferred to my new dentist, and assumed I was done with Aspen for good. No such luck...last night I noticed that they've put thru another $49 charge for their "savings plan", even though I'm no longer a patient there. I called today, and first was told they didn't charge me anything, then told me I have to call a different number...where I was told "sorry, no refunds". I've had to go thru my credit card bank to initiate a chargeback. The good news is, I absolutely love my new dental office - Southview Dental in Moorhead. Absolutely a relief to find them after surviving Aspen Dental. They even have a therapy dog!

We have gone to this dental office since they started but…read morethey did not have the consideration to give us any notification whatsoever that they increased their private insurance, that you are pretty much forced to take because they aren't accepting hardly any other insurances, by $150.00! We received 4 texts reminding us of the appt., but not one mention of the increase. Went through the total cleaning appt with the hygienist and the dentist...not one mention of the cost increase. Checking out AFTER the appt. and the receptionist has ALREADY RAN OUR CREDIT CARD...not one mention of the price increase until we look at the receipt and say "what the hell?". THEN the receptionist fumbles with saying "we haven't made any price increases in 5 years". The point is....not once were we notified of this price increase and given the option to opt out or have a different option. Like I said at the beginning....I am very upset and disappointed with this company at this point and would not recommend them to anyone who is having to watch your budget.
