Having younger kids (grands) and others in our group we love the exclusiveness of the resort. We've met some of the same guests year after year. It's so tranquil and peaceful, just what a vacation should be. The kids love the swimming area, the cabins a yurts are always clean. We fish, we rent a boat, we've seen bald eagles, osprey and the kid's favorite, turtles. It's a dog friendly resort, which is one of the main reasons for loving The Narrows.

Clean bathrooms and showers. Clean sites. There's a pool. Shore power hookups. Water hookups. Nice shades at some sites (site 20 and higher are the better sites.) There are a couple sites that don't have much shade. Our weekend here was quiet and relaxing. The other guests mostly stayed in their campers/rvs. The 100 degrees temperatures probably had something to do with it. The campground met all our needs. We setup camp here and then explore the surrounding Clearlake community outside the grounds. We went to lake, the local community park where there was a Shakespeare play happening. We enjoyed a farmers market about 20 mins away.

We paid for a campsite expecting a reasonable night's sleep and instead spent most of the night awake listening to our neighbors. Because we got virtually no sleep, we made the decision to leave a day early. When I texted the host, I wasn't even asking for a refund--I simply requested a complimentary night for a future stay as a goodwill gesture. The request was immediately denied because of their "no refunds for early departure" policy. The issue isn't that we left early. The issue is that the campground did not provide the quiet, enjoyable experience that guests are paying for. Hiding behind a policy while ignoring the reason a guest is leaving is poor customer service and shows a complete lack of concern for the guest experience. If you're looking for a peaceful campground, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Such a fun and beautiful place to stay- our view was amazing and we loved the chairs and picnic table on our own patio! The room was super clean and had mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Appreciated the in room robes. So nice and peaceful with very easy check in and super friendly front desk. Would absolutely stay again!

I wish they could add more lighting poles by the docks for night fishing, kinda dark or replace the burnt out pole lights. I really enjoy staying here, been coming here for many years. A few things i fixed while we were there, a couple stove burners didn't work, also the toilet seat cover was very loose, i tighten the nuts and fixed it. One last item the refrigerator light bulb was burned out. Maintenance should check these rooms more often., i did ask the maid for more paper towels but she never came back, other than these few things it was great staying here. We like coming here to fish and relax, much better in summer time. We will be going back at the end of May if all possible. Our usual place was unavailable because the town's water was mostly shut off due to a water leak. I'm so glad that we stayed here alternatively because it was a nice location and our room had a view of the lake! Additionally, our cottage was so clean, almost pristine and it felt private enough that I was able to get some much needed rest and sleep after severe jet lag. The owners obviously take pride in maintaining the property and even the pool looked so inviting but it was too windy and cool when we were there. We stayed for four nights and I slept all day twice while hubby was out fishing. There's a Safeway, Dollar Tree, and Grocery Outlet to shop at nearby and Walmart if you go a bit further away. Nothing negative to say about this place and it's good to know that there's a clean and relaxing spot to enjoy some rest and relaxation at the lake!

The customer service here is not great. The people are nice enough, but the people working the front desk do not seem to know the answers to even basic questions. Even though the place was completely empty, they charge for an early check in. Our reservation was not correct, and they put us in a regular double room instead of the suite we asked for. Had to return to the lodge and get all new keys and room after unloading and reloading the car. We also paid for a late checkout, and we still got locked out of our room and no one responded to our call. We had to go down to the lobby, which isn't easy here, after being promised someone was on their way. Getting anything takes forever or no one knows the answer. We stayed Saturday to Monday. Unfortunately, the onsite food service and bars close at 3pm on Sundays even though that was our full day there. The tiki bar was hardly open to get drinks by the pool. Essentially the only thing to actually do here is swim in the pool, get a massage, or use the gym. No kayak rentals, no mini-golf course, no pontoon cruises, etc despite all of this being advertised on the website. It was mostly empty and felt very abandoned in most parts of the property. The highlights: the pool is nice and people were very friendly. The bartender was awesome and went above and beyond to do what she could. The actual suite was nice, but not worth the price based on the other amenities being unavailable. The massage therapist was amazing! If the owners put any effort into this place, it could be great. The lake and scenery are amazing. In its current state, we wouldn't return.
