All we want to do is keep our business local to support or community. And this is the way she acts. For use we will be spending our money at Country pets and pond so yes there is another pet store in Warrensburg. I can't feel bumps in her abdomen nor is she acting sluggish. Her gums looks great and she seems happy and vibrant. We have another vet visit in 2 days. The owners of Country Pets and Ponds defended their feeding rituals by saying "that's why we feed them green leaf lettuce, that healthier." No. Use Google. That is not nourishing them - that's cheap. They defended putting their beardies on sand because "we only do that for the adults, not babies." Doesn't matter. They also accused my vet of "thinking she's an expert," even after praising that vet clinic moments before. Dr. Bradley has a PhD, she is an expert. The adolescent beardie in their care had very little water, even with 3 people working, and her/his water bowl was coated with sand on the bottom. So regardless if s/he is breathing it in or not, she's drinking it. Their animals look damaged and uncomfortabl. Go see for yourself. The male owner boasted about his colony of Dubai roaches he raised himself and told me how hard it was to raise them, all the people I know who raise dubias to save money says he's full of it. He just wants my money. ($7 for 24 medium dubias by the way - I can't afford that.) Please don't give them your money. They don't have a clue of what they're doing.

It had been…read moreawhile since we had been in the pet store and it now has extra lighting so you can actually see in there and the "smell" is gone - it smells fresh, pets all look healthy so if you haven't been there in awhile go ahead and venture it - clean, fresh and friendly. Went back again today to pick up the baby guinea pig since we picked up supplies the last time. I am wishing this guy all the luck and hoping that once he has been there for awhile, I can give the place 5 stars! If you take time to research this puppy mill breeder you will find multiple violations and other buyers that had the same or similar problems with their dogs.
