I loved this clinic so did my girls they was seen there for nearly 4 yrs untel we lost our car during covid an we was a couple of minutes past r check in time twice an then my daughter had a video visit the link they sent to me did not work we tried for thirty minutes an 20 minutes before her visit time I called the office three times all three times we was disconnected whe I called back a fourth ti.e I was placed on hold for nearly 15 minutes by the time they took my call she said we missed r visit I told her no I was on hold for nearly 15 minutes an u kept disconnecting us whe. I called to tell u r link u sent isnt working she said it wouldnt count against us but it did an their dr who has always been great refused to c them any more now my kids who have alot of health problems rite now have no doc an we r forced to use the er as our dr untell we find some one else. An if ur n springfield u already know there are not cery many good children doc here u either have clinics with nothing but new students every time u go n or u have the free clinics where u never c the same doc. I'm so mad an this was so u fair for my kids an our family. I have been going there since I was born. The doctors are AMAZING! Always very honest but still nice and give the BEST advice. Easy to get into and always answers questions and concerns. Always have had everything correct with my insurance and billing and have always told me if something was going to be out of pocket and okay it before doing it. After seeing my children since birth, and for the last 7 years, my youngest son's insurance did not update properly and resulting in charges being paid, unpaid, paid, and unpaid yet again. When the staff brought this to my attention, I politely asked them to refile the claims as the insurance issues had been resolved. Not two weeks later I receive two letters in the mail stating that not one, but BOTH of my children will no longer be seen due to our "inability to pay for services" Which is an absolute joke. So, because of the issues I had with insurance, which I communicated to them, they are refusing to see either children until the debt is paid. The "debt" being a claim that insurance is responsible for paying. The real kicker, here, is that over the last 7 years they have received THOUSANDS of dollars from my family in payments, and they are refusing my children over less than 800 dollars. After speaking with insurance the claim WILL be paid, but I refuse to continue seeing an office that dismisses children over less than a thousand dollars. Not to mention, in my multiple attempts to resolve this, every member of staff that I encountered was rude and insulting to my situation and intelligence. Every time I called and explained every piece of the situation it's like they had no idea what I was talking about - DO YOU KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE WHEN YOUR STAFF CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHY SOMETHING IS HAPPENING?? They're the professionals, and I'm doing my best to piece your lingo and random bull together, documenting every conversation, and your staff blatantly LIES to me over the phone, saying I was told one thing or another, when I can assure you that I was not. Overall I am disgusted, disappointed, and completely unsatisfied. I don't recommend anyone see an office that has this much disregard for children and their families. After all but begging for them to continue seeing my children long enough to see that the claim would be paid, I was told that ONCE the claim was paid, they'd be happy to continue seeing them, but until then, they would have to discontinue treatment.
