Due to not using the vehicle the battery was dead making the vehicle inoperable. We found that AAA won't touch a vehicle if it cannot legally be driven on public streets. We made arrangements for a vehicle transport carrier to take the car from NC to RI where the owner currently lives. The problem at hand was how to get the vehicle from our yard to a parking lot where the Vehicle Carrier could park and load the car. TO THE RESCUE - Tim Edens with Holly Ridge Auto Service assured our daughter that he could get the 2015 Porsche into neutral and tow it to the Lowes parking lot for loading. He was knowledgeable and great to work with. The morning that the transport vehicle arrived Tim came to the house and not only got the vehicle into neutral but was able to jump the battery so the Porsche could be driven onto the transport trailer after he had towed it to the agreed upon location.
