This place has come a long way and it's becoming better and better every time. They continuously build to make it look better and more fun for everyone that comes to hit the ball and now they should be having some food soon. Decent golf range - it was our first time going, and we weren't sure how the buckets vs bay rentals worked. The employees were all very young and didn't really care if you were there or not. Mostly just the "Gen Z Stare" and clearly were bothered by any and all questions. We ended up renting a bay, and the balls were included, but no one brought us additional balls - we assumed because it was a timed rental, the balls we're unlimited, but we left still not knowing the answer. It was nice to be under cover and out of the sun though. The bays have heaters for the winter but they should definitely have fans for the summer as the space is closed on 3 sides, all air flow is blocked. It was too hot to try the putting or chipping greens, but we will go back again. read more

Had an excellent experience here! I'm new to golf so I obviously had a lot of questions. Matt was easily able to handle every newbie question I threw at him. Left with a set of Mizuno irons I'm very excited about and he even found me a great used putter in the back room at a killer price. Great place to hit balls. Luck if the draw on balls - like a box of chocolates. Some great, some not so much. Plenty of targets to aim at. There is an indoor section that offers ball tracking as well. read more

Absolutely awful customer service...bought a $600 driver 3 weeks ago which was defective...they offered to trade it in for "way less then I paid for it" or wait 3-4 weeks for the manufacturer to repair it. I asked if I could just have a replacement and let them deal with the manufacturer and the answer was absolutely not. This is a perfect example of a company being friendly until they have your money and then completely disregarding you when there's no more money to be made off of you. Pitiful. read more

In 1982 a friend took me and my dad to exit 8 golf to get golf clubs and introduced me to Bill Hoffman the owner. Ever since that day, I have bought all my clubs and shoes and bags from there. Hit thousands of balls at their driving range. Three weeks ago as I was driving in to hit some balls, a white Bronco pulled out in front of me and I almost ran into it. The guy pulled up next to me and yelled, " Learn how to f'n drive with your big ass truck", so I went to get out and he said, "Oh, your a f'n tough guy now?", So I just looked at him and called him a 3 letter word (only thing I could think of at that time). He then yelled, "Learn how to f'n Drive" and he drove away. Two hours later after I was done hitting balls, I see the truck was in the parking lot and figured he worked there. Which he did. Today, me and my son went to buy New Clubs at Exit 8 and the guy at counter asked if he could help us and I told him we were there for new clubs. Then , the same guy who disrespected me walked behind the counter. So I told the first guy I did not want that guy to help me because he is a disrespectful little prick. As I went to look at clubs I see Bill Hoffmans son who runs the shop now, I think his name is Scott and I went to tell him about his employee, and he asked me to leave!?!?!?!? I was like really? Your employee disrespected me. I dont care leave he said. So we left, after 41 years of doing business there, I get kicked out!!!! As I left, the little prick was laughin. What is wrong with this world? if that was my employee I would have fired him on the spot! read more

Golf balls are old and lack dimples. Having decent golf balls should be priority #1 for a driving range. They fail miserably in this regard.

They took my husband's clubs on trade a month and a half ago and haven't sent him his new clubs yet! He is missing the beginning of a short golf season and all they can say is "supply issues." They keep telling him 2 more weeks. Why sell something that can't be delivered? Better yet, who takes the trade-in before giving you the new product? They have been horrible to deal with. I do not recommend this company. read more

I had an overall decent experience here, but left disappointed. The person who helped me was very good, he spent time with me to get properly fitted to new irons but they make it pretty clear here that they only really want to help people who are 100% set on buying that day. They over emphasize the $50 charge to fit you to clubs if you don't buy. After spending nearly $1,000 on new irons, I asked if they would price match a Ping putter, as there price was $40 more than Dicks. The answer was a resounding no....and that's after buying new irons. Wow, very weak. I really wanted to just buy everything in one place as I also needed a new putter, shoes, balls and a new set of woods but I am having a problem with the strong negativity regarding matching prices with such a well known competitor in Dicks. As much as I cringe to go back to Dicks, I would rather do that at this point. They at least are very much on board with listening to customers when it comes to price matching. So I go to Dicks asking them to price match a pair of Footjoy golf shoes, to come down $30 to match an internet company. And their answer is yes. Well that about sums up where I am buying everything else. read more

Awful experience purchasing a set of Custom fitted clubs. Long story short is they said 6-8 weeks. Called 3 weeks in telling me the shafts I was fitted for were on back order until the end of July, but TaylorMade stated they would upgrade at no cost. I accepted. A week later another phone call from Northway 8 and they stated that the shafts I was fitted for were on back order until the end of July. I stopped them and asked if this was the same call as the previous week. They stated "we see on your profile we talked to you but it doesn't look like we sent that to TayloreMade" This prolonged my order until the middle of July. When I finally received them a club was missing. Northway 8 stated that TaylorMade did not send it. When I called TaylorMade myself with the order number given to me by Northway 8, TaylorMade stated that Northway 8 never ordered the missing Club. When I confronted Northway 8 about it again, they stated they had ordered the club and that the customer service number I use is not the same and that they wouldn't know about the order. They haven't even offered to make up for their mishap. Awful experience and will certainly never step foot in there again! read more

Purchased Mizuno MP52s several years back. Still using them to this day! This place has a heated outdoor driving range for the winter time. Great practice area around the green for chip shots and bunker shots. read more
