Unreliable and underserviced vehicles. Accidents on site are underreported. Customers and previous staff are aware of odometers rolled back, vehicles tampered with and not serviced properly. In October of 2022 I test drove a black 2004 Ford Thunderbird. These cars are known for bad rear ends, and this one was no exception. I had it noted on the bill of sale to be replaced. I talked with the service manager, Joe Miceli, and he said that these cannot be repaired, but rather need to be entirely replaced with new, but may take a month to get one. Within days they told me the car is ready, as sceptical as I was I went to pick up the car. Salesman Brad Duarte said it had a new one replaced, but then when I climbed under the car it was clearly the original, rusty, dirty rear end....I took a photo of it. After pressing Brad for a while he admitted is wasn't a new, but rather rebuilt. I questioned that as it would have been through a cleaning process and new gaskets and seals if it was rebuilt...again the photo shows an old and rusty rear end. They then offered me a discount on the car to take it as is, but for obvious reasons I no longer had any interest in buying it. Trying to get my deposit back meant I had to deal with sales manager Paul Tavernese...and what a piece of work this guy is. Absolutely no personality, rude, and threatening. They refuse to return my deposit. Update: Since posting this review, I was contacted by Rob ( sales manager) and discussed my experience, which resulted in my deposit being returned. read more

Absolutely horrible experience from start to end. Northway Ford is clearly only in the business of making a sale, not making sure theirs clients are safe and happy. I purchased my car in December, on the terms that the window tint and some scratches would be fixed, the "Sales Manager" agreed to the repairs. Picked up my car a week later - only thing that had been fixed was the tint, I had to sit around and wait for the to just glob some paint on the scratches after I had been rushed through paper work. I noticed the breaks weren't working right and there was an awful clucking coming from my back tires. After holidays and my family going through being sick with COVID, I had time to call Ford. They were great, said bring it in and we'll check it out. I said perfect, Ill get you to do my winter tires as well. They assured me there were no issues, brakes looked great, they did some rust cutting but there was lots of life left. Fast forward another month and my brakes are worse and the sound is only getting worse. I can barely stop and it sounds like my tires are going to fall off my car. I take it to another mechanic as Ford said all was good.... No, it wasn't "all good" I was missing the caliper pins and this has now caused damage to my shocks. Ford said bring it in - after they checked it out, they said they replaced the pin and all was well and for your trouble we will comp you an oil change.... I didn't even make it out of the parking lot. Can barely stop and sound is still there. Assist Manager Jerry says "I drove it for 10kms its fine, lets go for a ride." We didn't even make it out of the parking lot and Jerry said "oh that shouldn't sound like that, bring it back in" They didn't have a rental so I had to drive again with the sound and bad brakes until Friday (2days later) Brought it back in, they got me a rental - No one called me Friday, so by 4:30 I called to see what was going on... they said oh right, we had to replace the front brakes, they were cracked. Lets leave it til Monday" Picked it up Monday, Jerry said - there may be a sound for a few days but it will go away. The sound is still there, just as loud as before, my steering now tight, my alignment is off, my brakes still not working..... I've called and left messages... guess what no one has called me back.... shocker.. This car should have never passed a safety - they refuse to listen to my concerns when I come in, nothing has been fixed... Northway Ford are absolute crooks. read more

I bought my car from this dealership in the summer of 2021. I knew going into the dealership that I would not be leaving there unless I had an extended warranty on it. It was a used car and the person that had it before I bought it leased it from Ford and added a cold air intake (CAI) to the engine and then gave the car back to Ford with the modifications still installed. As far as I know and what was told to me by the sales man and the financial person this is the only modifications that were done to the vehicle. When I originally talked to the sales person he told me that they don't give extended warranty on used cars. I found it strange when he said that but after telling him I wasn't going to leave here without one he gave in and said yes. Now was the time to sit down with the financial person. Up until that point it never occurred to me that the there would be a issue with the modification and warranty. The financial person started going over what was covered and he got to the engine part and it hit me. I asked him if there would be any issues and I still remember he's exact words. "Ford does mods like this all the time, it's normal. If another Ford dealer says no, then just bring it back to us and we'll fix it." I was satisfied with that answer. On the service agreement it actually says "customer is aware of aftermarket parts installed on car." Fast forward to last week. I was driving on the highway and heard a a bang come from my engine area. I live in Toronto and the closest Ford dealership was Yorkdale. I brought it to them and was told that there was a hole in my engine but they couldn't do anything for me because of the modification. I called Norway Ford and after a day or two of talking to the service manager (great guy, unfortunately can't remember his name) he told me that he has passed the info on to the general manager, Paul. I kept calling and leaving messages for him. He eventually answered my call and told me at some point he would text (sms) me and give me more details. While all this was happening I had to (and still am) borrowing my friends car to get to work. As far as I am aware, and this was confirmed to me by the nice service person at Yorkdale Ford, if I have an extended warranty then I get a loaner car. I finally get a text message from him and he says that he is just going to refund me the warranty money. I told him that was unacceptable. I still owe $24-25K on the car and was told that a new engine would be around $15K. He said that he was not aware that it needed a new engine and that he would get back to me. I also asked him what he could do for a rental car. He said to remind him the next day. So the following day I texted him in the morning and got no response, then again after work. He got back to me and said that he wasn't in the office today and he would text me tomorrow. At this point I felt like I was getting the run around. I told him that if I didn't get some answers about my car and a rental by tomorrow that I would have to start contacting people above him and going through other channels. His response to me was "I just had dental surgery and don't threaten me." I was nothing but nice and courteous with everyone I talked to from there. I even have all the text messages from him to prove that. I'm now in contact with the sales manager, Rob. It started off nice enough with him but now he won't return any of my calls. read more

Not going to rant, but I am going to state the facts. During my last oil change I asked them to look at my air conditioning/ventilation system (it was only blowing on full and not on 1,2 & 3 settings and no cold air at all). They came back & quoted me $2600 plus tax and a full day in the shop. I went to my old mechanic in London today, he ordered the part, fixed it in 15 minutes and charged me $81 tax included. I have ice cold air & it blows on all settings. I'll let you decide whether you want to spend your money there or not :/ read more

Terrible service and empty promises. I waited in the waiting area for 45 min when I went to pick up my car, my sales person left for the day with out telling me. I had to as another sales person where my car is when I can leave? He called my sales person on speaker phone and he said he left for the day. The person I spoke with pointed at the lot and said that's your care right? I said yes I think so and he said sure you can leave take it. I spoke with the sales person and the business manager about putting new tires on the vehicle and after I signed the contract they both forgot all about the deal it was verbal I wish I put it in writing but I felt like we had an understanding and the day before I picked up the car I was told there will not be new tires on the SUV which I openly told them I am buying for my family and safety was the most important thing to me. I felt cheated and wronged in this deal I have nothing good to say about North way Ford and the way they conducted business with me. read more
