The Lady Mrs. Clark charged us nearly double for the same type of services as previously passed away family members. It was so sad, double talk, poor attitude, eyes rolling, head bobbing, and the whole experience was heartbreaking when she took care of us. After witnessing this, our family has vowed to NEVER send any of us there. When we pass. They now own Leon Williamson Funeral home in Milwaukee WI. Our family will stay clear of both and will pass down to generations. Some say, the only way they will go is if they could be received by Mr. Clark only. He is kind and patient and they have another guy that comes and Prays with the family, I think his name is Bill, he's nice too. So if you go to either of these funeral homes, deal with Mr. Clark directly. Lady Clark is so rude and mean and please be mindful, she will let you know she is the Boss! Oh and if she gets your love ones body BEFORE you have spoken to Mr. Clark, she got you and she gonna PREY on your sympathy. That's her job and she wants every penny she thinks you have. It's your choice. This is my opinion and me witnessing how she played my family hurts because we have trusted the Clarks with our love ones for years. Paradise was the only place we went to even with the Previous owners Mr. Bell and Stark who was friends with my Grandparents. The relationship is broken over greed and taking advantage. Also be mindful that if you have insurance, there is an additional charge. I think most funeral homes charge a certain percentage so if you have cash, pay with it and get all your money back from the Policy later. Again this is my opinion and what I witnessed

This funeral home preys on people who aren't familiar with the complexities of the death care…read moreindustry and the rules they must follow. It relies on confusing and pressuring people during what for most people will be one of the most emotional times of their lives. When doing business with this funeral home, do not take this funeral home's word for anything. They will tell you conflicting or incorrect information about the people in their care. They will omit or be obtuse about information that you should have during this process. You will have to verify the information they tell you by seeking information from multiple funeral homes and individual online research. Every time you call this funeral home, someone different will answer the phone and will not have information about the person under this funeral home's care. Sometimes you get lucky and the person you were waiting for a call back from answers the phone. There will only be one person who can help you, and they will likely be busy doing something else and they will not return your call. You will have to call this funeral home multiple times a day to get information that should be easy to get from anyone working there. This funeral home will make you jump through hoops that no other funeral home I spoke to in multiple states could understand. Because of this unintentional, or perhaps purposeful ignorance, this funeral home will attempt to push you to make decisions that you should not have to make, or take actions that you should not have to take. The year is 2024, and this funeral home does not understand that the internet exists and that not everything needs to be done in person. If you have a choice when you require the services of a funeral home, save yourself the headache and choose a different one. There are many other reputable funeral homes in the Milwaukee area who will not treat you poorly or like a cash cow. You could even ask other funeral homes about this one. The other funeral homes in the area that I spoke to were aware of this one and how it operates.
