Tried to park in the on-point lot at 5:15pm and was stopped by this guy who said you can't park…read moreuntil 6pm. Okay, the guy doesn't know his job because the signs actually say 6:30. So I really didn't have a right to park there, but I find it comical that the back pays a guy to park in their lot just to yell people they can't park in the lot. Come on On-point. This is Bend and it is Friday night..

Sad to report about this business…read more What do they do well? Easy setup of accounts! Redmond branch has nice employees. They seemed like they would genuinely help us when my daughter had fraud committed on her account. Opportunities for improvement Calling them for anything is rough. I've been on hold a ton. The fraud department is the absolute worst!! They are hard to understand and they often cannot help after waiting a long time!!!! And they tell you you will get a letter but they freeze your accounts. Long story shortened. 18 year old daughter... very independent but not wise. She got tricked into opening a link through an email. And the following month got hacked on an app she hasn't used in years. We reported to them as soon as she told me about it. They drained all of her funds. Over $2200 from savings which took her several years to save for a car!!!! And $250 in babysitting money in her checking. Then they canceled her debit card and froze her account for 2 full months while they investigated. Then they credit her back the funds and say that it is a temporary decision but she is still not allowed to add a new check to her accounts. Then a few weeks later they say "we have confirmed the transaction was authorized or initiated by you therefore you are liable". So a hacker stole around $2500 from her and they decided it was her fault for using the cash app on her phone a few years ago.

I Just had great customer service at this Onpoint Branch!…read more We have been members for about 4 years (personal and business accounts) and have continuously been impressed by the way Onpoint conducts business. They do care about the customers and they go out of their way to help them out. I am currently out of town on vacation but needed to do some business banking. Akacia took great care of me and solved the problem I had! I will definitely continue being an Onpoint member and strongly suggest this bank/branch to others.

Be warned, this review will make you never want to get a loan here. I have a client who was…read morepurchasing his first home. Heidi Kirkpatrick was the lender in charge of helping my client. Everything started out smoothly. My client found a home, put in an offer, had it accepted, went into escrow, had an inspection, paid for an engineer certificate, and the owner of the home had to pay for tie-downs which aren't cheap! We were about 32 days into escrow at this point. We were just waiting on the appraisal. The appraisal was late. So I reached out to Heidi to get an update. She didn't respond that day. She then didn't respond the 2nd day after the appraisal was due. I didn't hear back from Heidi for another 3 days (5 days after I reached out to her and it wasn't over the weekend or a holiday). When I did hear back from her, she called me directly. I said, "Hi Heidi, did you hear anything about the appraisal yet?" She said, "yes, but we have an issue." She proceeded to tell me that she thinks the home my client was buying has been moved twice and that Onpoint credit union doesn't do loans on twice moved homes. She said, " I will try to find out if it has" and I said "same here, I thought for sure this home has only been moved once but I will look into this." She didn't give me more than 20-25 minutes before she called back and said " I'm pretty sure this home has been moved twice and I just found out we can't do loans on single wide manufactured homes." I said "did you find proof it's been moved twice?" She said, "no, I just think it's been moved twice" (she never looked into this and her response was extremely fishy). I then said " we have been in escrow for almost 6 weeks and you now just found this out? We have gone through inspections, underwriting, appraisal, engineer certificates, and a preliminary title report. You should've known this from the start and you've had an excessive amount of time to of told this to my client." This is where this review gets even more frustrating with extremely poor professionalism. She says, " I have to drop your loan and hopefully someone else can help your client." I called the DMV to see if Hedi called them like she said she would as sometimes the DMV can tell you if they had multiple travel permits on this manufactured home. The DMV asked every employee there and they all said "no one called about those permits." Then I call the engineer who tied down the home that Heidi was supposed to be in contact with. The engineer (Good ol' Russ, thank you) said "Heidi never called me to talk about the home being moved twice but in my original engineer certificate that I sent Heidi says that I believe the home has only been moved once and doesn't show any sign that it's been moved again and I'd be happy to put that in writing to help you guys with the purchase of this home." I couldn't believe my ears! Heidi lied about calling the DMV. Heidi lied about talking to the engineer and worst of all, she tried to put the blame on me (buyer's realtor) as if I somehow missed the fact that the home has been moved twice. She was trying to find another way to get out of this deal because she made the really BIG mistake of being 1 week from closing on this home and then telling my client that she can't sell single wide homes. She had dozens of opportunity to tell us this earlier in the transaction but to be honest, she should've known the minute my client went for a single wide home or the moment they reached out to get a loan. This could've cost my buyer thousands. Not including both realtors and the homeowner who have put a lot of work and money into this sale. Never in my 12 years of real estate have I ever had such a poor lender with terrible communication, a lack of empathy, a lack of professionalism, and such a straight up LIAR! My client was devastated and thought he lost his one chance to buy a home with the only cash he had at that time. I had to buckle up, find a new lender, and rush everything to get this fixed. Thank god for Renee from Landmark Professional who stepped in and made the rest of the transaction seamless. Training at this branch needs to be better. There needs to be accountability for almost ruining a transaction for a wonderful young family. Don't walk away from here, run away from here or you may have the same issue.
