Maybe I should've known this but also feel like this should've been clarified when I called over the phone. Either way I still would've sent my husband just didn't love what felt a bit like a bait and switch. The chiro was late. They "ran out" of parking passes, we ended up having to pay for parking because we went over the 90 minutes, that was just kinda the cherry on top. Overall they will help you get better just posting this for transparency and so maybe going forward they'll be more forthcoming with their customers.

Months to get ANY info about costs...long after miltiple visits, again violating their own written policy! Have recieved TEXT MESSAGES ftom an unknown number as an 'invoice'...with a link to a random pay site. SCAM.. or new (super shady) billing practice that breaks every one of their policies??? My PT appointment happened to fall on an already difficult day. My doctor's appointment ran 30 minutes over (something entirely outside my control), which made me late for my scheduled visit. I called ahead, let the front desk know I was en route via Uber, and offered to accept a shortened session rather than cancel. What I received in return was a firm "no" and notice that I would be charged a $100 no-show fee -- for an appointment I was actively trying to make it to, that would have only cost me a $40 copay. I understand that late policies exist for good reasons, and I respect that. What gave me pause was the complete absence of flexibility or empathy in how the situation was handled. Healthcare is rarely a straight line -- delays happen, systems are complicated, and patients are often already navigating stressful circumstances by the time they arrive at a PT office. A 5-minute conversation that acknowledged that reality would have gone a long way. There's also a certain irony in a physical therapy practice -- a field built around patience, recovery, and meeting people where they are -- having front desk interactions that feel more transactional than compassionate. Bedside manner isn't just for clinicians. The front desk is often a patient's first and last impression of a practice, and that interaction sets the tone for the entire care experience. I'm not writing this to be harsh. The therapists themselves may be wonderful. But I'd encourage the practice leadership to invest in training front desk staff on de-escalation, patient communication, and the kind of grace that makes a difficult healthcare journey a little more manageable. Patients who are trying to show up -- even imperfectly -- deserve to be met with some of that same effort.

I just woke up one morning and I could not lift my dominant left arm to wash my face, shampoo my hair, or put on my seatbelt without debilitating pain. I can now do all the above with some stiffness and no pain. I would not have made it this far without physical therapy and my physical therapist Cheyenne. When my sports medicine doctor told me it might take a year to completely heal, I didn't believe it. Now I do. She also warned me repeatedly that if I did not stretch every day, I may not regain full function. She did indeed scare me. She gave me one steroid shot that felt awesome for two weeks. The second shot, 3 months later, lasted a blissful 2 1/2 months and I took advantage of the absence of pain by adding an additional PT session a week.. Cheyenne provided me critical training and support, and helped me make demonstrable progress. I always feel better after PT than before. She has the innate ability to find an exercise or two or three that addresses my shoulder stiffness, stretches the appropriate muscles, and hurts--but in a good way. The stiffness is not static as it abates and seems to shift around my shoulder from week to week. Sometimes it seemed futile because I would make progress, go to sleep and then wake up in pain and with limited range of motion again, but over time I have seen real progress. And that is mostly due to Cheyenne, her support--kindness, empathy, encouragement, and humor--and her ability to provide effective training and treatment. Cheyenne kept me motivated. And she gives the best massages. She knows how to maximize range of motion through stretching, exercise, and massage. The staff are friendly, patient, and more than competent. Scheduling and billing always go smoothly. All the therapists here are great and effective. The center has a big workout floor with all kinds of equipment. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming and supportive. It is a healing place. I accept that I will probably still be here in October, which is an achievement in itself. If not for Cheyenne and SRS, I might have left earlier and never completely healed.

In May 2025, my scooter was struck by a car and I took a hard fall on the road. Luckily, I was…read morewearing a helmet (please do - geeze people, be safe!), but I unfortunately sprained both of my ankles and struck my palm on the ground. It was pretty bad! I started my sessions with Mari in late June, and she a great job of assessing my movement and pain points. She set me up with a really achievable regimen of exercises and self-massage, and after a few weeks my hand and neck are already significantly better! The ankles are a bit more complex, but there is improvement, and Mari has really well of talking things over with me to make adjustments to prevent pain and strengthen in the right places. In our most recent session, she also used Graston technique (tissue scraping with tools) on the various tendons around my ankles, and I was amazed by how it brought relief that was significant, immediate, and lasting. Total wizardry!! Overall, I've loved working with Mari and appreciate her kindness and willingness to adjust her approach, and also talking over payment with me. It's great that she's in such a walkable spot near where I live in Maple Leaf!

I live out of state and was in Seattle visiting family when my upper back went completely out. I…read moredidn't have anyone in Seattle to turn to, so a friend recommended Richard Bandy (for Physical Therapy) at Physiotherapy Associates, and I gave him a call. He kindly slid me in on his lunch hour to be able to see me, since I was an enormous amount of pain and he was otherwise booked up. I have a very painful occasional issue where my ribcage rotates in a way its not supposed to, and the resulting muscle spasms will pull two ribs and sometimes my whole shoulder nearly out of joint. Richard is a giant guy - he must be 6'6" - and I think (?) he is a former hockey player. He was able to twist me up and gently crack me back into place, and showed me a number of exercises to help prevent it from happening again. I came in barely being able to walk, and walked out feeling like a new person. I still do my exercises (although not as often as I should), and I am still SO grateful to Richard for helping me in my time of terrible pain and need.
