They said the pipe was old and rested so they cut a hole in my kitchen floor about the size of a shoebox they replaced the pipes they did not put a snake in the drain the water was running and it wasn't backing up when they left I turned the water on and let it run to see if it was going to back up and it did they charged me over 700 dollars to replace a PVC pipe a plastic pipe and they never ran a snake in a drain they said we had to make an appointment for them to come back out they came back out the next day and charge us almost $300 to run a snake in a drain something that they were supposed to do when they were first there. There was no No warranty nothing they left a gaping big hole under the kitchen sink and they charged us for 2 days over $1,000. It was two guys that barely said two words to me and my husband they were rude they didn't close up the hole under my sink I will never ever suggest keep the plumber to nobody there's no way in the world that I should have paid almost $1,000 to change a PVC pipe and to snake the drain no warranty whatsoever on their work do not use Keith the plumber.

Even better, Pierce arrived promptly, just after 8:30AM and appeared extremely professional and ready to get to work. Pierce was extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I showed him the issues I was having with a toilet and two sinks, and he carefully explained what was going on in a way that made complete sense. He stepped back out to his van to coordinate with Laura on pricing, and within minutes had clear, straightforward options with numbers for me on how we could approach the problems. The pricing was very reasonable, and they even offered bundling discounts, which made it an incredible value! (Especially for the level of professionalism and quality service they provide.) It is rare to find a company where you genuinely feel comfortable having someone in your home, but that's exactly how I felt with Pierce. Extra kudos to Patrick who dug a trench with a smile on his face! Brandon Smith the salesman who first came to our house also was great explaining how the system works and it's benefits and I was able to call him on several occasions with questions before the installers came. We are enjoying our delicious clean water straight from the facet ( no more bottled water ) and my hair, our laundry, the dishes from the dishwasher , everything involving water is so much better now. You hear horror stories about tap water so I was excited to see how gross ours was. Marquis Easley came out on the scheduled day and time. Marquis is an ABSOLUTE GEM!!!!!!!!! The presentation was awesome. He set up the rainsoft system to our kitchen sink and did a water test on our tap, our drinking water, and the Rainsoft system from the tap. Our drinking water that we buy from the Primo machine and the Rainsoft water were identical. The tap water was DISGUSTING!!!!!! It was cloudy and icky. I would have been horrified if I was a tap water drinker. We were absolutely sold on the product, though I am not sure if the Rainsoft sample they used was super concentrated compared to the actual system they install. Pricing was very very very expensive. I knew that they were going to have a sales pitch though they made it seem like this was a free test in affiliation with the City. And boy was the sales pitch STRONG! The system by itself is $5,995 and with the add ons like alkaline water only go up from there. We were quoted $8,995 for everything. That is a tremendous amount. I never knew that I was going to be letting someone into my private space to sell me on such a huge ticket item. When I asked for the term of the loan that's when things started to make me uncomfortable. Marquis just repeated $108 a month. This is where the deception comes in. We did an application and figured that we could see what the interest rate came back at and then decide from there. My husband has a credit score in the sevens. His interest rate came back at a whooping 9.9%!!!! Please please please do the math before you sign anything because you are also signing a purchase agreement when you do your application. The terminology in the purchase agreement gives you 3 days to cancel from when you sign. They pressured us to do the install the day after the presentation when we were approved for the loan. Please go online and calculate the amount financed at the interest rate. When we were approved, I felt that they were sneeky and tried to hide the interest rate (and I'm sure for good reason). It was just "You're approved for $108 monthly payment ". $108 /month on a $9k loan will take nearly 12 years to pay off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your total amount paid is not $9k but rather over $15k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only other option (and it's a totally separate application) is the Home Depot no interest for 24 months. That payment ends up being $375/month. If you don't pay it off in the 24 months you get hit with a ridiculously high interest and you would need to read the contract to see if it's the total interest on the full amount OR remaining amount owed. For this reason, they lost us. It's a great product and the people are incredibly nice. For us, it came down to the price and loan terms. I would only buy this if I could buy it upfront or have an absolute way to pay it off in 24 months. We canceled the contract the day after the presentation.
