They have some nice arrangements to help give the customer other ideas for their home. We decided on a coffee table group that was presented with the sofa/love seat we chose. Our sales lady was very nice and helpful. We had it delivered and everything was done well. The store is a little bit crowded but not terribly. It is somewhere to check out if you are having trouble with other furniture stores that have chosen poorly for their year's line up.

The Beaver Dam Antique Mall just kept going and going and going!…read more The "mall" is comprised of several antique sellers who each have their own little area inside the store. Once you think you are done browsing through all the shops, you notice a set of stairs leading to more finds upstairs and then a third floor! Wow, I could have spent all day here! There are various items from all different time periods and some great deals. I scored a red "train bag" with a 70's style Amtrak button still pinned to the outside. My friends Carolynne and Andy also both found some great stuff. If we had more room in our car, we would have bought some great furniture. I found a cute telephone desk and a writing desk in need of refinishing. Carolynne had her eye on a mammoth set of mail sorting shelves, which would have made a cute bookcase. This will definitely be a stop on our next trip and we'll make sure to rent a U-Haul for all of the great furniture finds.

The few furniture pieces lacked character, and were significantly overpriced for their state of disrepair. It's also super offsetting to walk into a store in small town Beaver Dam and to be asked to lock your purse in a locker. This isn't Chicago or Milwaukee, and even more to the point, who even steal grandma's old salt and pepper shaker collection?

I was able to score a cute little 50's hat and a colorful ascot style tie. If we had more room in our car I would have snatched up the full set of china I found (for only $65!) and some of the cute furniture items. But Carolynne and I are already plotting a return trip to Beaver Dam just for the antique markets. Be forewarned, the Dusty Attic is cash and checks only! Bring your bank roll!
