I don't think they're closed down there because all their inventory is still right there so it's just a case of catching it when it's open and the hours are massively reduced now so just be aware of that.

While attending a quit show at the Washington County Fairgrounds in West Bend I saw a booth with a Baby Lock machine on display. Speaking with person manning the booth I learned more about the services offered at KK Sew and Vac. In need of a machine cleaning on my Evolve and Espire machines a family member was able to take me and my machines to the West Bend store. At the age of 87 my physician told me to surrender my license to drive due to medical reasons. I was devastated that my wings have been clipped! I live in a senior facility. In addition to great service, I found the bonus of fabrics and multiple sundry items for sale. Then yesterday, I was looking through my Visa account to make sure there were no odd charges. Whadya know, there's a mystery $28 charge from Nancy's Notions. That was odd, since what I had ordered was $3.99; that charge also appeared on my account. Later in the day, I got a shipping confirmation from them, for something I didn't order, and probably never would have ordered. I called their customer service line this morning. They say they don't keep credit card information for security reasons, so this couldn't have happened. The only thing I can do is refuse the package, and they will eventually credit my account. They did say that they show that the order was placed over the phone; I'm guessing that someone else's order was charged and sent to me. Bottom line - don't ever order anything over the phone. They've really gone downhill over the past few months. If I could find everything I buy from them somewhere else, I would go there.

I have purchased my Serger and one of my favorite machines from them and the service is top notch. I know they have been in transition since the sad passing of Nancy which may explain some of the bad reviews. I only had one bad experience and it was a serger class that I took. The instructor was not someone from the store but the company. I thought there were too many people in the class and the instructor was not prepared enough. I can not blame the store or the girls for that. Do not be afraid to check this store out and purchase products.
