I'm beyond phobic when it comes to…read moredentist, I am petrified and terrified, but I had a follow up visit with Dr. Clay at Claybrooke Dental and he was kind, patient and understanding just as he was the first time I visited. He was the same friendly person I had had experienced the first couple times. Calming my nerves is a key part of my visit and they understand me and my fear. Dr. Clay patiently went over my plan again walking me through the process, being totally honest about my concerns, reassuring me, helping me to find avenues in which I can get the procedures done. He's just amazing and his office staff is more amazing. I am so glad that I found Dr. Clay at Claybrooke Dental. It's taking me some time to get the procedures done because I'm so afraid of Dentist but Dr. Clay understands that and is very patient with me and allows me to be a big part of my planning, deciding on the right procedures and the right time frame for the best insurance coverage. You cannot fail if you go to this practice, you will have the most amazing experience, professionalism, care, laughter, relaxation, and a hug if you need it! The front desk staff knows how to take care of business and is happy to do so. This group is better at every phase of the game. I started off absolutely loving Linworth Family Dental. I truly enjoyed my visits and cleanings in the beginning. The staff seemed close knit and their website appeared to bolster that sense of closeness. But after a couple of years, I noticed my favorite hygienists suddenly no longer working there. It started off with one or two staff, but then it felt like at the next appointment, I didn't recognize any of the hygienists. I understand that people move, change jobs, etc, but I was a little concerned. Another reason for my low rating is that with each passing appointment, more and more advertisements for beauty procedures (like Botox) were put on the walls. I've seen plenty of offices with pamphlets, which I understand, but it got to the point where they had a huge retractable banner in the lobby and pictures of clients (which happened to be staff) taped to the walls of every single exam room. It felt more like a cosmetic spa than a dentist office. An additional reason is that the cleaning during my last visit was very sloppy and rushed. The hygienist was a young girl who kept telling me about how stressed she was for losing the key fob to her dad's Mercedes Benz. She kept stopping to tell me the story instead of focusing on the cleaning. When it came time to put fluoride on my teeth, she globbed so much on that even my fiancé told me he'd never seen so much caked on someone's teeth (and lips) before. And the worst part? I was due to have my gums measured, which she told me at the beginning of my appointment, but she forgot to do it. I was so frustrated by the end that I didn't even bother to press. I just wanted to go. It was also at this appointment that I found out the dentist I had been seeing had left the practice. My last reason for why I won't be returning is because of the receptionists. My fiancé accompanied me to my last appointment and waited in the lobby while I had my cleaning. As we exited the building, he said he could hear the receptionists behind the front desk speaking poorly about a patient. He said it was uncomfortable sitting in the lobby hearing it all. I find that disheartening and unacceptable. TL;DR: Linworth Family Dental used to be a wonderful dentist office but the quality has gone downhill and the care is nowhere near what it used to be. I cannot in good faith recommend this practice anymore.

I've never had a dentist sit down and explain what is going on with my X-rays. I'm always left to trust and assume what I am told is the truth. I was traveling from out of town and the clinic was able to move some things around to squeeze me in. One of their staff came in on their day off so I could get a treatment before leaving town. He explains the " what and why" of anything he wants to do. He has redone some crowns that have gone south from other dentists and it's been easy and they look very nice. He does the most thorough oral cancer screen I've ever had. As you leave, the staff gives you an estimate of what the costs will be for upcoming work, schedules your next cleaning and..... GIVES YOU A CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE that they make at the office every morning.

I'm unfortunately gifted with a need for crowns and this can be a real challenge with the extra time needed to get things done right. Dr. Latif makes the process go quickly. He persistently checks in with me to assure there's no discomfort while he is working. I've been coming for regular cleanings for 2 years (just had my 4th) and have had 5 crowns that were absolutely necessary. I went in for a molar with pain and heat / cold sensitivity. The dentist said a placing a crown…read moreover that tooth would fix it. I asked why he wasn't going to do a root canal first. He said it would be fine. After selling me, and fitting me with the crown I had terrible pain with the temporary crown. Long story short they convinced me the new crown would fix it which it did not. I had to go to an Endodontist to get a root canal done through the $2000 crown and spend another $1800 for the root canal. Then another $250 to get the crown filling. I've lost trust in this provider and the manager was not willing to listen to my concerns and acted like this was normal business.
