Cons: 1) At the front desk, they have two price boards, and depending on how you look, they charge accordingly. 2) The massage was okay, but when I asked for more pressure, the therapist just applied more oil instead. 3)The masseuse did not follow my instructions -- even after I clearly said "no arms" three times, she continued massaging my arms. I'm not one for aesthetics but I can tell you this place doesn't have it. Their hours are written in sharpie and there's no signage above the door. It's not any better at the front desk. However the prices for their services and the service they provide is worthy of five stars. My feet were in heaven the only regret is not buying an hours worth. I've been here numerous times in the past and I generally don't take my time to write a comment but for them to squeeze me in for last minute walk in was truly appreciated!!! I wasn't too sure if they would be able to do so but he made it work and made all my accommodations possible! The gentleman in the front desk is always really kind and helpful! and I was even able to request the massage therapist I wanted! That was really kind of him and of her considering i was walking in. Plus she always makes me feel welcome and the massage is always a 10/10 with her! Also her energy is always positive. From the back massage, hot towel, to the hot stones! My brother, mom and I called the day of and were able to get in reservations Christmas evening before dinner. We all opted for the $20 foot massage which SHOULD come with a 20 min massage on the head, arm, hand, neck and shoulders - just like how they have printed on their menu. Unfortunately for us, we only had our feet massaged the entire time. It was relaxing but we were all looking forward to getting our back and shoulders massaged where it needed it most. Update: NEVER coming back here again. It says they open at 11am so my mom, stepdad, and myself come in at 11:05am. No one is here, they asked to sit down while they finish setting up. After a few minutes they take us to where they do the foot massage. We're laying down when another couple walks in and complain about their appointment at 11:30. They weren't even on the books. Massage for two at 60 each. My husband and I talked about the tip beforehand. If we're happy with the service we then tip $10, if not just $5. (We are actually a good tippers) But we were both unhappy, therefore tips we're $5 each. OMG, the guy owner said our TIP was 'TOO LESS' and he even compare that restaurant tip is 15% already, and the lady did my massage spoke in her language in upset tone. WHY?! if they want more money, they should charge more. They should know tip is a gratuity, and not mandatory in California. This is the best massage I have ever had in my life. I've received a full body massage from Vicky and Lucky and they were both amazing! They use lots of pressure to loosen any knots, but if it's too deep of a pressure, just let them know. I did not stop them and let them use the amount of pressure they felt was needed and I honestly had the best sleep of my life that evening. I woke up a bit sore the next day, but my body felt adjusted and aligned and felt very very good! 1 star- because the male masseuse was actually good at his massage. (Did my back, neck & shoulders) For about 20-30 mins, then a lady pops into the room and switches off with him and BOOM!! She comes in with AGGRESSIVE energy & her hands cracked at least 2 times from how hard & fast she was doing my shoulders and lower back. I have had plenty massages in my life but those 10-15 minutes BY FAR have been the worst of my life. 2nd Star- because the guy that seems to be running the show, was accommodating to the situation. I had called in and made an appointment for a couples massage. Turns out they were busy when my girlfriend and I arrived. So he did his best to make up for it by doing a great job on the massage. I felt so relaxed for those 20-30 minutes. -3 Stars- YES they ask for more tip like all the reviews say. My gf and I both agreed that lady does not deserve a tip nor is she in the right career choice. She should probably channel her aggressive energy somewhere else NOT as a massage therapist. They also have full on conversations while you're getting your "relaxing massage." Definitely unprofessional and have no idea how they have business still. I wrecked my spine 3 yrs ago and getting massages have become a chronic necessity. Had the 1.5 hour massage last night and it was the best I've ever had! I have a VERY physical job, so my muscles are always sore and I constantly have knots. I wish I would have gotten the name of the sweet girl that gave me my massage because she really knew what she was doing! Warm oils, HOT stones, hot towels, soothing lotions, relaxing music, and very dark lighting. I didn't know until I showed up that they prefer doing appointments only, but they did mine anyways for me and I cannot be more thankful. Staff is very nice. Sometimes difficult to understand them due to the language barrier, but their customer service more than makes up for it. I've already referred one coworker here and I will refer many more. My husband and I been here twice and was disappointed on both occasions. We get a massage pretty often, I would say twice a month at that. We found this place on yelp decided to try it since they close later than the one we go to. Where do I start .... We both paid for an hour massage and both times they shorted us 10 minutes, and mind you in between when they get warm towels my masseus took her sweet time to come back to me. ( long enough for me to keep looking up the clock). Don't get me wrong I've been to other massage place that gets warm towels and put away the bucket of water, but they come back right away. That's more time taken away from our massage. On top of that both our masseuses were talking loud right from the start. They do whisper at times but it was so distracting. Most annoying part was each time they speak to each other you can feel them either pause what they're doing or relieve pressure from the massage. I had tried several of the girls and you will get a variation but they are very accepting of your preference such as firmer or softer. I really enjoy Lucy and Joy but all are pretty good. I brought my Father here for a 30 min massage on the table... Joy attended him. When my Father was done he came out to meet me in the waiting area and he looked pale and exhausted, breathing heavy. I asked him what was wrong. He said he felt sick as if he was going to throw up. He paid the 22$ fee and my Father was giving Joy a tip of 3$. She refused the tip because she wanted more money. The beginning 10minutes of massage employees were talking loudly and the 'masseuse' was more invested in the conversation and often would pause. There was no sense of a relaxation, not a quiet environment. Facility is unkept, and my 30 minute massage was cut short, 22 minutes later when I asked why it wasn't 30 minutes employees started arguing. Ultimately she finished the massage but I felt so much tension as they continued to argue. In the end they have the nerve to ask for a tip and continued to argue as I left.
