I immediately tipped my masseuse with cash. My partner doesn't carry cash, so I needed to get change at the reception. As I'm following my partner to the front, my masseuse tells the receptionist something that makes her immediately ask me if the tip I gave was for 2 massages. I said "no I need to get change for the other tip." This was an awkward exchange. It didn't feel right how they inquired for tip, and that took my thoughts away from enjoying the experience. I asked for a 30 minute massage and paid the $40 house fee. Sophia led me back to one of the rooms and left to allow me get undressed. After a few minutes, Sophia returned and began the massage. She asked me if I wanted the massage hard, medium or soft. I opted for medium because I was afraid of too much pressure causing the kink in my neck to get worse. Sophia did a great job of gently breaking up the knot in my neck while applying just the right amount of pressure to my shoulders and arms. It felt wonderful! She worked my lower back too since I told her it was also sore. Before I knew it, the 30 minutes was up and massage was over. In hindsight, I wish I had opted for an hour massage.
