We envisioned having to visit many nurseries to end up with all we needed, by 6pm we walked out with 3 types of ground coverings, lavendar plants, 2 types of ornamental grasses, in the end over 20 beautiful healthy plants and in comparison to other "popular" places the prices were extremely reasonable and fair. Don't let the curb side size of the place deter you, it is HUGE once inside and they seem to be way ahead of the competition when it comes to variety. ENJOY, we sure did! I have a rocking chair I bought 36 years ago, it's held up in the outdoor weather. Spring time, healthy perennials, shrubs and trees are available. This is where I go to get my healthy plants. I always get my bird seed here, high quality and Holdriges has specials. Checkout the pond shop. The koi fish and water plants are amazing. They helped me to pick out the perfect plants and greenery to make sure that I have a quiet and peaceful place to sit and read or BBQ and share a wonderful meal with friends and family! They were running a special on the mums - buy 2, get 1 free. So we picked out 9 & got 3 free. After the special, the mum prices were reasonable. The staff was very personable & friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back to check out the butterfly garden & then maybe also in the spring when we need some annuals.
