Noshi Floral Design is a gem. Amy came highly recommended by a friend and I followed her work on Facebook and her website for a few months. Amy's designs are warm and sophisticated, but have a stylish and modern feel. It's all about the details for Amy. For my wedding bouquet, I sent her a few snapshots of wild and full blossoms with lots of color, and told her to use whatever was in season. She said I could be as specific about the blooms as I wanted, but I opted to be more "conceptual", letting her decide on color and type of blooms (I had a very strict budget). I just wanted a big and bright bouquet and similar color scheme for the bridesmaids. Amy is great at client service. She was friendly, easy to talk to and listened well. She didn't waste time and asked some good questions about the setting and what mood I wanted to create as well as my needs for delivery and setup (all good questions). She is a one-woman shop and she is super organized and does a great job of setting expectations. I liked that she was up front about everything including costs, set up time, and what to expect. Amy hunted down the most beautiful blooms at amazing prices (she only uses high quality blooms). The day before my wedding, she messaged to tell me she found huge peonies and roses at Whole Foods for half the price of the flower mart. She also snipped blooms from potted flowers because they were cheaper and looked fresher. Amy is super resourceful! I was literally stunned by the results. Not only were the designs perfect and exactly what I wanted, they were still beautiful a week later. She went way above and beyond. I received more compliments about her florals than anything else, even from people who did not attend and just saw photos. I can't recommend Amy highly enough. She will not disappoint! read more

Working with Amy and Noshi Floral Design was a pleasure from start to finish. I don't live in the Bay Area so I was relying on Yelp reviews and the designer's websites to select a florist that I wouldn't meet in person until the big day. Amy was responsive, professional, and quickly understood my vision and, using photos of things I liked as her guidelines, worked hard to make that vision come true on our limited budget. She was also incredibly flexible as we had to change the number of centerpieces a couple of weeks before and she didn't miss a beat. We also experienced a very sudden family tragedy when my mother passed away two weeks before the wedding and she was overwhelmingly sweet, meeting us the day before the wedding to incorporate a piece of mother's jewelry into my bridal bouquet and even creating a sympathy bouquet in her memory. One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was choosing Amy of Noshi Floral Design to do my wedding flowers! From the beginning, I had a great time working with Amy as she helped me to develop a concept for my floral arrangements. The months leading up to the wedding were busy, but Amy's organization, insight, and wonderful personality made this the easiest part of my wedding planning. Amy is a master at her craft and puts wonderful touches in her designs to reflect the personality of the bride and the wedding. I was pretty non-specific with my requests, only telling her my color scheme and a few of my favorite flowers. I also showed her pictures of what my wedding party and I would be wearing. I loved the designs on her website 2.) she answered my questions knowledgeably and professionally and 3.) Amy was totally cool with working within my budget. Throughout the process, Amy responded promptly to all my questions, and offered helpful suggestions for how to work creatively within my budget. She's also super organized. We're so happy we used Noshi Floral Design for our wedding at City Hall! We couldn't have been more pleased with how everyone's flowers turned out. Amy was so easy to work with and really loves what she does. It is very obvious in her work. We were originally going to keep it simple and get a bridal bouquet and boutonniere but since we had only a few guests at the ceremony, we decided to get flowers for everyone.
