Floortech of SC - Pictures of the tile floor showing defects of installation

    Floortech of SC

Buyer Beware! Hired this company in January of this year and dealt directly with the owner, John…read moreMcCormack. This organization is blatantly dishonest, I have multiple communications with the office contradicting timelines owner promised ie tile was ordered vs not ordered. They did the work weeks later than promised, and served up daily excuses. I would have never shared public commentary, however, if the work quality was not an issue. They installed tile floors and laminate in my home, and the worksmanship is as bad as it gets! Loose tiles, cracked grout, lippage between tiles, completely un-level floor installation. Their own subcontractor lifted up areas of the installation after the fact and showed me that it was not his tile work, but all the subfloor prep that the company had done. I notified the owner of the defects, and he has gone completely radio silent. I am in the process of litigation with this company, and when consulting with my local construction attorney I was informed that this company has had previous issues with installations they perform. The attorney I am working with has had multiple customers that he has represented against this company, typically ending in a settlement and non-disclosure. They typically either try to offer the client compensation to keep them quiet, or they settle when a client pushes things forward through legal challenges. I wish someone had written some feedback when I was making my decision to avoid the headache I found myself in. The entire tile floor needs to be ripped out and redone completely, as none of the work is salvageable. There are plenty of decent flooring companies out there, do yourself a favor and save the headaches. Don't let their reviews fool you! I've attached some videos I took for the subcontractor they hired to do the work, showing some of the issues.

Ian the owner of Allpro flooring was great to deal with. I had him replace the carpets on my…read morerental property. His pricing was very reasonable. And he even offered to buy the carpets with his vendor discount to save me money, which ended up being cheaper than both lowes and Home Depot. The carpets were installed in a timely manner and turned out really great. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the service and will certainly refer AllPro to friends and neighbors.

We had such an amazing experience with AllPro from start to finish! From their initial estimate to…read moretime of payment, they knew exactly what it was going to take to get the job done right the first time. As first time homeowners, and with this being our first major renovation project, we were extremely nervous. Ian and Mandy were so professional and patient with us throughout the entire process. They constantly let us know when they would be arriving, what we could expect to be completed that day, and they never left a speck of dirt behind when they were finished with that section. The project ended up being more difficult than any of us anticipated, and they still came through with their reassuring voices of positivity and knowledge. Every member of their team came and gave the same amount of kindness and work ethic as they did. Our floors look absolutely gorgeous, and we cannot wait for our family to see them when we all gather for the holidays! We plan to use them again when we renovate our upstairs flooring. Trust me. I rarely leave reviews, but felt it was important that anyone seeking advice on such a large investment for their home have this knowledge. You want the team at AllPro on your side! They will not disappoint!

I must say the very best handyman I've ever hired, he specializes in plumbing and electric. I had…read moregotten him through Home Depot to instal a dishwasher and microwave. After first contacting him figured I would also pick up a couple of ceiling fans and a few light fixtures. We agreed to a price and made and appointment. He kept in contact to get updates on my deliveries. I also discussed replacing my kitchen sink. Darrell first impressed me was as soon as he walked in he dropped down a towel and wrapped his feet. Everywhere he worked he made sure the surrounding areas were protected. He took a look at my sink and told me what it would take to install a new one. Instead of taking me into a lengthy project he explains it would work but be costly and asked was it worth the minimal benefit I would get out of it. When he finished I all had him hang to wall hangings in the stairway to the second floor, Did a great job on that also. He hauled everything away, my place was spotless when he left. The week previously I had new floors installed on the first floor and tile in the upstairs bathrooms. One of the toilets wasn't set right and leaked onto the bathroom floor. The installer sent back another crew and re-seated the toilet. A few days letter a started seeing a water streak develop on the ceiling. At that points I had no confidence in the flooring company and called The Helping Handyman. He fixed the problem and let me know what the problem was. I also had him re-seat the toiled in the other bathroom. He did a great job in very little time. The flooring company agreed to pay for fixing the ceiling. As the group I contracted to fix the ceiling took down all the fixtures they commented on how excellent the installation was on the ones The Helping Handyman and asked for Darrell's number. The Helping Handyman is top shelf and I would highly recommend him.
