It's not exactly something that we really think about, much less discuss with any regularity. That is, until you actually need to have something cleaned...then you've got options-o-plenty and some potentially costly decisions to make. So, let's start there. I really want to do this one justice because I think it can save people some time and money depending on their circumstances. While you're reading, you may want to keep in mind, this particular job was what I'm sure most would consider a worse case scenario. I recently prepped a clients investment property for sale and he had a few decisions to make. The biggest of which was whether we should replace the carpet in this home or try and have it cleaned first. The difference in cash would've been thousands... As you can see by the 'before' photos below, I honestly didn't think there was much hope for this carpet when I first spoke with Ashton at Xtreme Dry. He was gracious enough to work on a couple test spots before giving us his opinion. He explained we were flirting with more of a restoration than a cleaning, but he accepted the challenge. To say we were impressed with initial test areas would be an understatement. The decision was made to give this process a try rather than face the aforementioned replacement costs. I simply can't articulate how bad this carpet originally looked. It truly looked like a crime scene. It would be no exaggeration whatsoever to suggest this carpet looked like a couple junkies shot-up and died on it. It was truly that bad... just years of wear. Anyway, you get the picture. Flash forward 24 hours and you'd never know you were standing in the same home. This was truly a case of money having been well spent. It's also a glowing testimonial to the power of on-line reviews. Like you, (right now) I read about Xtreme Dry on Yelp and decided to give them a call. Ashton and his team did an exceptional job on this home. He and his crew were professional, courteous and attentive. My wife and I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future. In fact, we plan to schedule them to give our own home a once-over very soon. I won't attempt to explain the difference between this particular process and traditional carpet shampooing, but as I understand it, traditional carpet cleaning/shampooing is a wet process and it creates more of a muddy environment within the carpet. This is why stains can return, etc. This process uses a textured material more akin to sand, allowing for a cleaner, dry extraction. It's a truly impressive process. Check out the pics below. While she was doing a deep clean in the bathroom I straighten up the kitchen a bit so it wasn't overwhelming with clutter. Then she started the deep clean in the living room & when I was done I walked into the living room & I was thanking God for sending her to me. Then she started in the kitchen. While I sat down in the living room I looked around & she did an outstanding job. Then I got the text my dad was on his way home. So she wasn't finished but we quickly ran around to finish up before he got home. We've been living full-time in SC since the beginning of 2021, and have gone through several other cleaning services. Until we found Salle & Nick, we were disappointed in either lack of reliability, or cleaning standards not being what we expected. Salle & Nick are responsive, reliable, and do what they say they're going to do. Our house is always wonderfully clean after they leave. And with 2 Siberian Huskies, that's saying a lot! Without hesitation I can say I recommend them highly!
