My family has been going to Dr. Poling for 30 years and he is wonderful! He is so kind and gentle…read more He listens to you and finds the best way to help. He is great with young and older patients

We found Dr. Steven Poling when we called Dr. Seri Kwon since both doctors are part of the Park…read moreMedical Group and Englewood Health. He was friendly and kind. I told him we were there because both my teenage son and I had flat feet. Also, I have sprained my right ankle 5 times. In addition, had had painful ingrown toe nails removed in 2018. Moreover, my feet swell and are often in pain or are numb due to foot neuropathy. He advised us to always wear shoes with closed and firm backs and that had arch support as well as firm heels. He said not to wear flip flops, sandals and mules anymore. The best shoes were sneakers. He said we should not go around with barefoot, even indoors but to wear sneaker slippers or other supportive slippers with closed backs. Pedicures might make me feel comfortable but I should be careful about removing too much of the dry cracked and callused skin on my heels as I could get an infection. He was not a proponent of the foot and calf massage machines including those with heat nor of the electric foot soaking tubs. He said they were a waste of money. Also there was no cure for our foot problems. All we could do was manage the situation with foot exercises like standing up and down on our toes or pressing the outer foot against a desk leg. Also taking B vitamin and alpha lipoic acid supplements. He also recommended, being more active/sporty. Fast forward a week later, I twisted my feet and sprained an ankle while walking on on an uneven sidewalk and path. Dr. Poling put an elastic supportive sock on the less affected ankle which was swollen and in pain. For the right ankle that was even more swollen and in greater pain from being sprained, he wrapped it tightly in bandage tape and suggested I get a waterproof cast cover for it when taking showers. He also had me bring in all my shoes to inspect them and tell me which were suitable and which I could no longer wear. Moreover, the suggested I go to Runner's House in Paramus, NJ to get fitted for more supportive sneakers. Apparently, runners are very particular about the shoes they wear in order to perform better while minimising injuries to their feet and ankles. Runner's House is recommended since they spend extra time measuring your feet and ensuring you get the right size and type of shoe and that it fits properly. Two weeks later, Dr. Poling has made plaster moulds of my feet in order to have orthotics made for me. I have also bought more suitable sneakers to wear since, unfortunately, after inspecting all of my shoes, he told me that only two pairs of sneakers I had were suitable. I have to give away all my other shoes - heeled mules, high-heeled sandals, flat sandals, pumps, rubber water shoes, flip flops etc.

2003 playing football I sprain my ankle, fast forward 14 years later I SEVERELY break my ankle in…read moresoftball and frantically trying to find a specialist to deal with immediate ankle surgery. Through a friend at Stryker, we coincidentally get referred back to the same doctor that assisted me 14 years prior. It took us both a few minutes to realize this, but how could I forget him after a huge help he was back then? But the "huge help" was really coming in May of 2017 when I was in severe danger of losing my foot due to compartment syndrome. The break was so bad that walking down the aisle in October wasn't on my mind anymore, it was about "am I going to keep my foot?". I became his case study around the country and I still am. You want a doctor that's going to be informative, amazing bedside manner, and has a total sense of humor to make you feel comfortable? It's Dr. Michael Subik. He honestly pulled off a miracle for me. I had 4 major breaks - fibula, tibia, and 2 other's I can't even damn pronounce. Not to mention a bunch of other little ones where the bones pretty much were crushed to nothing. By November of 2017, after WALKING down the aisle, I was already commuting back into the city back on my feet to work. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and while everyone has different experiences, the comments I see from "Bill M." are far from the consistent truth. "Arrogant" is the last thing Dr. Subik is. He's so down to earth, communicates very well, listens and makes you a priority. His skillset is second to none. If you find yourself in an unfortunate situation needing a podiatrist, it's Dr. Subik! You'll almost be sad when you're all healed up and want to grab a beer with him!

He asked questions and made recommendations for follow up care. I would highly recommend him and I hardly ever recommend anyone or anything after my 1st visit. So if you need a podiatric care this Practice would be my go to recommendation. I have seen a few doctors over the years at this location and they have been good!

I was immediately told that I had to sign the back of the check. I told the CSR that the check was made out to St.Mary's General Medical Group not me so why did I have to endorse the back of the check? The CSR then turned around and told the Male who was standing behind the desk that I did not want endose the back of the check. I then said I have never endorsed a personal check made out to a business. The male, WHO BY THE WAY, TOLD ME HE WAS NOBODY when I asked who he was then proceded to tell me that THERE IS A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING!!!! My reply was "really in banking without instructions." This NOBODY,(as he called himself) then proceded to go on a condensending and sarcastic rant on How I was telling him that he did not know the procedure in the office. I told him that what he was saying was not true, I did not say that he did not know the procedure only that I had never heard of that policy before and there were no instructions on the bill directing me to endorse my check. Mr. NOBODY then proceded to say "WELL I TOLD YOU THERE IS A FIRST TIME FOR EVERTHING." The doctors in the office are excellent. I am a Nurse, for 40 yrs. who has worked with one ofthe doctors at a hospital . Mr. NOBODY is horrible, angry & sarcastic. He is not professional and his preformace only proves my point. The staff is employed not by the two doctors in the office but by the corporation PRIME. The information in the photo circled in RED states how to address your personal check for payment. MR NOBODY needs to review that information.
