I have also been charged fees for notices that I never received, whether by mail or email. Additionally, mortgage payment history has not been reported to the credit bureaus, meaning borrowers do not receive the potential credit benefit that often comes with making consistent mortgage payments. Most recently, I found myself dealing with a lost cashier's check related to my mortgage account. While issues can happen, what ultimately prompted me to write this review was not the situation itself, but how it was handled. When I contacted the office, I was met with a level of customer service that was completely unacceptable. The manager I spoke with was dismissive, defensive, and confrontational. When I expressed concern about her tone, there was no attempt to listen, de-escalate, or provide professional customer service. Instead, I was challenged to justify my concerns. There was no apology, no ownership, and no effort to resolve the interaction constructively. Customer trust is critical when dealing with mortgage payments and important financial documents. Unfortunately, after years of ongoing frustrations and this most recent experience, I no longer have confidence in the level of service being provided. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe prospective customers should understand both the administrative challenges and the customer service experience they may encounter.
