We stopped at Bubba's 33 on our way home from Florida, and Shay absolutely made our visit! He was one of those rare servers who instantly feels like someone you've known forever. We spent half the meal just yapping, swapping stories, and laughing. He was friendly, personable, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy getting to know his tables. I CAN'T HYPE THIS PLACE ENOUGH! Okay, I will admit I have known they existed for a while but I thought it was another mediocre chain. My fiancé and I stumbled upon a picture of the pork tenderloin sandwich from Bubba's 33 and he literally couldn't get it out of his head. So off we went! We went late-ish on a Sunday. There was no wait. Host and server were absolutely amazing. The place is large and very busy with neon and screens. Awesome loud music selection. I'm sure sports ball was playing somewhere along with music videos that appealed to our Gen X and millennial selves. The server let us know that they specialize in scratch made food for everyone and the menu backs it up. We ordered fried pickles with their house made ranch. They were great! Thin sliced and crispy batter! The ranch can hold its own! My fiancé ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with loaded fire fries. I ordered the shrimp tacos with loaded seasoned fries. My plate came out and the manager Chris explained that they had unfortunately ran out of pork loin BUT they managed to cut and tenderize a piece for us and the food was on its way! He apologized and gave us a few coupons for apps. I told him I really appreciated that they actually put in the effort because that's specifically why we came and he could've easily told us they were out! Our server also apologized for the wait. Everyone was so attentive! The food was well worth the wait. It was fresh and tasty! The fire fries are INDEED fiery, so beware! Great taste and portion sizes. I came here for a late dinner when traveling through the area for work. The place was pretty much dead when i arrived and it took me a few minutes to be seated. I wasn't too hungry so i just got chicken tenders and a side salad. The side salad was huge and had so many toppings on it. The dressing tasted a little weird - I got the balsamic but it tasted like there was a bit of bbq taste to it. The chicken tenders were thick and came with a side of ranch and honey mustard which were tasty. Both were pretty average. Overall this place was pretty slow for not having many people there. The food and drinks were average and cheap. If i was in the area i probably would try some place different and keep this place in mind as a last resort. read more

Generally we have a good experience here, but our last visit was the worse. There were seven wait staff and a manager sitting in booths on either side of us and not one of them bothered to take our drink orders or even acknowledge us. After fifteen minutes or so we got up to leave and the hostess wished us a nice day. At this point I had to speak to a manager and she was sitting right next to us. My advice is if you go there make sure the waitstaff are working and not sitting around are else you won't get any service. The 1/2 pound cheeseburger was more like a 1/4 pound and was barely warm. The fries were cold and hardly any. The beer wasn't cold.

This place was close to a soccer tournament in Evansville that was able to accommodate 18 kids on a team and their families! The waitress we had were phenomenal and did a great job handling our chaos! We basically got the entire patio area and their out door basketball court that was just outside the doors of the heated patio. It made for an amazing experience and a great meet and greet with our teams families! They are known for their burgers and they had quite a lot of options. I had a chicken sandwich but heard the boys and other parents enjoy the variety of burgers! Their portion sizes were huge and everyone had simmering to take home for the kids to snack one later! I definitely recommend this place for a larger gathering or just s small family dinner. Not really a date night place, great food watching games on TV! read more

There were several screaming kids at the opposite end of the restaurant screaming very loudly. We asked to speak to the staff about this and they completely ignored us. They responded to us that "Kids will be kids". They said they could move us to a different table but did NOT say they would speak to the parents of the unruly kids. They were rude to us. We had an excellent time at Bubba's 33! We popped in later in the evening around 8ish. I was starving. Hubby had already had a snack. We started with the shrimp appetizer - delish!!! It is on a bed of like little crispy homemade cutup chips. I've never seen it like this but it was tasty! Then we ordered the 33 Supreme pizza and asked to have black olives only on one side and mushrooms only on the other side. They brought it out and it was perfect! The crust was delish, the toppings were nicely proportioned and the ranch that we ordered to go with it was superb! I had seen a couple of mac n cheeses go by and had to try it so I also ordered a side of mac n cheese. Yum! Glad I did! The service was on point. Hubby ordered a rum & coke drink as soon as we got there and it arrived fast! He said it was made well and he really enjoyed it. Overall this was a stellar experience from beginning to end. I expected way more out of this restaurant. When I walked in, for starters, the attendant was quite rude using a mean tone of voice. I will say, the atmosphere was just like a traditional sports bar, very fun. They said it would be a 20 minute wait, I ended up waiting 45 minutes. Constantly watching people who walk in after me with a table of 6, going before I get a table, and all I had was 2 people. Once we finally got seated, our server came 10 minutes later and finally got us drinks. I ordered a Cheeseburger and fries. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for food and it l wasn't that busy after we sat down. The cheeseburger was overcooked and the fries were burnt. I love the Bubba's 33 concept. I had a great smash burger and my sons gave one a try and it was JACKPPOT! Their coffee rub ribeye is amazing but we were in a burger mood. But the best part was the service we received from Jenn! As you may see from my reviews I am a big fan of genuine hospitality from the hard working servers in our restaurant industry. Chris the manager came by to check on our food quality and I had to remind him about the great service we received. Jenn recommended some options with our burgers AND fries and by the way the onion rings were excellent. Thank you Bubba's 33 for great food and a great dining experience. All of the staff were cordial but if you have Jenn for a server you are in for a great experience. Thanks for that extra measure of service!!. The place is casual along the lines of the Texas Roadhouse concept but yet has a unique blend of sports and entertainment, comfortable seating and a great menu with many options but the best part about this location is a great group of people which is always nice. A benefit I found by working in the media is being able to try new restaurants out when they open. I knew there was a soft opening this weekend of Bubba's 33 and it was an invite event. Anyone could have applied for an invite which I didn't do, but I saw part of the news for the day was to cover the opening of Bubba's 33. I called Bubba's and they had a spot for me. Bubba's 33 is located in what I was told an old Logan's. The restaurant is somehow connected with Texas Roadhouse. The place was loud like a Texas Roadhouse with TVs everywhere and sports and music videos on them. The menu has something for everyone. I chose fried pickles as my appetizer. These pickles had a thin batter on them that gave them a texture similar to a potato chip. My server provided housemade Ranch and Bubba's sauce. The ranch was outstanding! The Bubba's sauce seemed to be a ranch base. It is thicker with a sweeter taste. I debated between wings, fried chicken or a burger. My server talked me into a burger because it was fresh hand made meat. The burger I picked was the spicy habanero. This burger was one of a kind as it had a 1/2 pound of meat, Bubba's sauce, some kind of habanero relish, and fried jalepeno cream cheese. The fried cream cheese is wahts going to make me order that burger again. The mac and cheese as my side was all right. Sweet tea was refreshingly sweet! Bubba's 33 will be seeing Rhett Baxley again while he lives in the Evansville area. read more

There are so many things to love about Bubba's33! First of all they have an app and you can join the waitlist! Which to me is huge and a definite bonus for going to eat here on busy nights. For the price of a meal at a fast food chain you can have the best burgers and fries made fresh, hot, and delicious!!! So many appetizers to choose from. I highly recommend the fried pickles. They have a full bar available and they have four dollar drink specials! Hello, drink specials every day!!! Minutes later brought the coffee out and said they had no cream for the coffee but could bring milk. 5 minutes later came back and said they had no milk but would not charge us for the coffee. We were a little unsure about this place only because it was Christmas Eve and had no familiarity with it. However, some of our extended family had been here since it opened back in April of this year. The chain was founded by people who started Texas Roadhouse. We had a party of 13 and had to split up into 3 tables, which wasn't a big deal since we were all seated close to one another. Our table enjoyed appetizers that included garlic knots and onion rings which were both home runs. Highly recommend both! My wife and I enjoyed one of their burgers (which they are known for apparently) and it was very tasty. The ambiance = sports bar themed with over 75 TVs and music playing. It made for a fun atmosphere and lively evening. I could see myself here to watch games no doubt. I visited this spot around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! I walked in and was told it would be roughly 10-20 minutes for a table and it was established at that time that I would need a table suitable for a wheelchair. After a quick trip to the restroom I determined that there were very few tables that were handicap friendly. They ended up putting us in a back booth but I had to take my daughter out of her wheelchair (and fold it up) and slide her into the bench because it was impossible to pull her wheelchair up to the table. Our waitress came right away and got our drink and appetizer order and then was back a few minutes later to get the rest of our order. It took about 10 minutes for the appetizer to come out. I went with the fried pickles and they were really good. They were super thin and fried pretty crisp. They were served with the house made ranch dressing and what they call bubbas sauce. The ranch was ok. The other sauce was amazing. Spicy and delicious! It took maybe another 10 minutes for our entrees to come out. My daughter had the chicken bacon Mac and cheese and she really enjoyed it. The cheese sauce on it was really creamy and flavorful. I went with the spicy habanero burger and wow. The burger itself was very juicy and seasoned well. The bun was the perfect amount of toasted and chewy. The charred onion and jalapeño relish was spicy and amazing. The star of the sandwich was the fried jalapeño cream cheese. It was so so good. The creaminess of it really took the sandwich to a whole different level. I also got the fire fries and they were indeed fire. Probably a little hotter than what I like but they were good. The one downside to the resturant is the noise level. There are multiple TV's located thruout and you pretty much have your choice on what to watch. They were all turned to a moderate volume. The place was very full too so that added to the noise level. I can definitely see this as being a great place to come and enjoy a few drinks with friends while catching a game but it is definitely not the place if you are looking for a nice quiet meal. I'll definitely be back at some point but probably will not be bringing my daughter as it was just too much to try and find seating that is handicap friendly. read more

Love the atmosphere in this place. Every staff member was super friendly. Service was quick. We got there at opening on a Sunday and they quickly got very busy. We tried the shrimp appetizer Shotgun Shrimp it was sooooo good. Def worth the price for the amount you get. We ordered a pep pizza their crust cheese and sauce were all very good I'd get it again. Went there yesterday evening (3/9/24)... around 5:15pm. The hostess told us the wait would be 15 to 20 minutes. My wife said that's fine and before she could turn and move to wait, the hostess told her, in a disrespectful tone..."wait in your car please." When my wife asked why, she said it was a fire hazard. How can someone...standing close to a door, be a fire hazard?? Most places in Evansville leave one of their entrance/exit doors locked. How is standing (and able to exit faster than any patron in the building, or hold the door for exiting patrons) a fire hazard?? The hostess could have asked in a much better manner to go to our car, which we did and left. Will not patronize a restaurant that has an ignorant policy like this and a disrespectful hostess to tell you that. read more

Been talking about going to bubbas for awhile. Heard good things about this place. But on this visit was very disappointing. Started out good. Didn't take long to get our seats. But after getting seated we waited 20 minutes before we even ordered drinks or appetizers. A couple was seated after we were already had appetizers and drinks at their table. We ordered a 16" pepperoni pizza and garlic nuggets. Waiter came back and told us that they was out of pepperoni so we get a sausage insteadThe garlic nuggets were awesome but when the pizza came it looked dry not very much sausage was on it and hardly any sauce.You would've thought I ordered light on everything. And this close to KY, I expect something flavorful. It was also confusing as to what this place was trying to be. Sports bar, country bar, restaurant? What is going on with the atmosphere? The food.... It's bar food, lots of fried options. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich, but it really could have been from anywhere. The one big complaint I have... the salt. Man everything seemed extra salty and that's not nice, particularly if the drinks are making up for it. Wanted to try someplace new. Was doing a hospital visit and tried this place out. It looked promising as they were packed on a Saturday at 3:30 PM. Wife got the chicken avocado bacon on focaccia bread, daughter a simple cheeseburger, son had the black and blue burger and I the mushroom cheeseburger. We all had the fire fries and enjoyed them. Wife's sandwich sounded good but that type of bread is not practical as it fell apart. Mine was delivered dry with burger cheese and mushrooms. No dressing or toppings. Service was great as far as personnel but slow in the beginning. Expect an hour to be served once hitting the table. Not a fan overall but our server (Dee) was great. We can differentiate between the kitchen and the staff and we tipped average (for us) because it was a kitchen issue. Not sure we will try again as the wait accuracy was lacking and there are plenty of other places as an alternate. read more

We've eaten at this location twice in recent months and both visits we had great service and great food. Portions are big. Chicken is tender and juicy.
