Got to love a bakery that specializes in one thing. Nothing Bundt Cakes is literally just bundt cakes, and they do bundt cakes very well. We stopped in for one of their small bundt cakes, which they call Bundtlets. They are "personal" sized, which means they are small enough for one person to dig in and go to town. We got two Bundtlets: one Reese's peanut butter and chocolate, and one strawberries and cream. Two Bundtlets were more that enough for my two children and I to share. We cut them into quarters and had a piece of each. A quarter of a Bundtlet is a nice one- or two-bite dessert. The cake is tender and moist, and the frosting isn't too much or too cloying like frosting can sometimes be. It was just right. They have a dozen or so different flavors, like carrot cake, lemon and snickerdoodle. They also sell bigger bundt cakes, as well as Bundtinis, which are mini and sold by the dozen. I was the only customer in the store. The clerk was very pleasant, has a smile on her face, and got my cakes for me right away. I also got a free bundlet for my birthday, so she packaged that up for me. Now I had two big boxes and a small bag to carry. I did not even ask for her help, but she offered to open the door for me. I was parked directly in front of the store. She then offered to open my car door. There's no way I'd have been able to open the car door while balancing everything, and it was wet outside so I didn't have the option of putting the boxes on the ground. It's such a cute concept. Tiny bundt cakes bursting with moist flavor. There are several options, from bundtinis (bundt cupcakes) to bundlets (small bundt cakes) and bundtlet towers, I loved seeing all of the options. I was able to try the confetti flavor, which is basically a birthday cake with sprinkles baked in. Sooooo tasty! The frosting is a real treat too, fresh cream cheese drizzle. They have flavors as follows: red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, whites chocolate raspberry, confetti, marble, carrot, classic vanilla, and pecan praline. These cakes are so delicious! I was very happy when I found out they were opening a store in Fishers. We first tried these out in California and are excited they are expanding to the midwest. Everytime I have been into the store the staff are very friendly and helpful. Bonus: they always have samples! It's a great way to try new flavors and also taste how delicious these cakes are. They are very moist and flavorful. My favorites would have to be the cinnamon swirl and red velvet but I think I've tried almost all of them. My mom is a huge fan of the carrot cake. I think the frosting goes well with the bundt cakes and makes the flavor. They also have a special flavor that changes every 1-2 months- my favorite so far is the peppermint flavor that comes out in the winter. They have their normal bundt size cakes, smaller bundts called "bundtinis" and they offer larger cakes as well. My dad and sister are both GF and love the GF option. Quality of cakes are always consistent regardless of location but when I went here to pick up my order service was below average. When I walked in there was only 1 customer asking the employee some questions. I was neither acknowledged with a look or greeting by the employee. The other customer said "oh go ahead I'm still deciding" so I stepped forward, still no greeting by the employee. I told her I was picking up an order, she asked my name then went to get it. Since I had ordered 2 dozen budtlets for a party I asked if it was ok if I verified the order. She said nothing, just stood back and observed as I used my nails to unseal the boxes and struggled moving the large box to verify the other one. Then after I was done not a single greeting (thank you, have a good day) as I left. If I was getting my usual bundtlet or 2 I probably wouldn't have thought much of it but if I'm spending $100 then a greeting or acknowledgement of my presence at the least would be appreciated. Went back a 2nd time a few weeks after my first experience. The service was much better, friendly staff quick to help me so I changed my initial 3 star rating to a 4 star.
