Vanilla Bean has moved to 1510 W 86th Street, north west corner of Ditch and 86th next to Puccini Pizza. They were closed when we drive by but the dance looked a bit bigger than the previous location. When I saw a note on the other location I was afraid they'd closed. They have the best cupcakes. And have been able to fill orders based on internet photos for various occasions. I will be stopping back by when they are open.

Flavors I chose were Cookies n Cream, Strawberry, Lemon, Boston Cream, Chocolate yellow butter

The new location of this bakery was located right by my job so I figured I would stop by to satisfy my sweet craving. I love the set up of this bakery. Clean, comfy, and cute! They also have more than just baked goods setting out. You have your choice of different candies, gummies, and homemade trail mixes. They had a sale buy 5 cupcakes get 1 free that I decided to go with. Each cupcake was moist with a light fluffy icing to go on top. They are not overly sweet but satisfying. The young lady who assist me at the counter was very pleasant and quick with my order as well. Next time i hope to try their cookies that I hear good things about as well. Overall my favorite is Lemon

I officially love vanilla bean bakery! I have lived near this store most of my life but never stopped in. I happened to be in crunch and needed some cupcakes for a friend's birthday and I'm so glad I trusted them with my dessert needs. The cupcakes were very fresh, moist and flavorful and the icing was delicious without being overly sweet. The wide variety of flavors means there is something for everybody and I recommend mix matching. The associate (who may have been the owner, not sure) was incredibly sweet and helpful as I had several questions and tend to be indecisive. The price is right and my entire party really enjoyed the desserts. I highly recommend this bakery for a quick dessert to fulfil your sweet tooth or for customized and specialty items.

These are some of the most delicious cupcakes we have ever tried. They have such unique flavors. They cupcakes taste so yummy, the cake is moist and the icing is perfect...not too sweet. We can't wait to get more of them. Will definitely be ordering them for our next celebration!

SO impressive. I'd been calling around trying to find a German chocolate cupcake for my sister's birthday. Nowhere had them and I finally called Vanilla Bean Bakery. They didn't have any either, but different from the other places, the owner instead asked, "How many do you want? We'll make them and put them in the oven for you right now!" Seriously how impressive is that?! He was so friendly and their customer service was amazing. When I picked them up a few hours later, the woman at the counter told me they'd just been taken out of the oven and iced from scratch. They smelled AMAZING and they tasted just as good. Another awesome part? The store is super cute and has incredible little gifts. For example, they have a lot of individually-wrapped, chocolate-covered Oreos that are themed. For only $1.50, they're the cutest mini birthday gifts. They also have a big glass display full of mini desserts, like cake pops. They even have birthday cards and other little elements that will make your celebration perfect. All of these reviews talk about how incredible the owners are (in addition to the bakery goods being delicious), so I'd definitely feel comfortable using them for a big event. They're so reliable, professional and helpful!

I love the creativity with vanilla bean bakery! They truly can make/design any type of cupcake. We had custom succulent cupcakes made for our grandmas 85th birthday. So cute and so tasty!

Vanilla Bean was great to work with. They had great communication and were very informative. As a first time customer requesting a custom cookie order, they really helped me understand what all I could do and the cost of everything. I really appreciated it. The cookies were a hit!

Cookies and cream! My judging standard.

I love cupcakes- I really do. Cake is my preferred dessert to cookies, brownies, etc,. largely because of how much I love frosting. And a cupcake is the perfect balance of cake to frosting, IMO. It's also a great post-meal treat without making you feel stuffed or like you've overindulged. I'd actually never heard of or seen Vanilla Bean until finding out a family friend was working there and invited me to take a look around! The bakery is quaint and inviting and while I'm biased in saying the customer service is great, I got to meet the owner and be welcomed into the store in an extremely friendly manner. Now, this is definitely a purchase-and-go bakery, so don't expect to sit down and enjoy your cupcake. I was recommended a bunch and stuck to my classic favorites which BOTH delivered - cookies 'n' cream and Boston creme pie. The icing is a bit stiff for my liking but softened by the time I reached home. What struck me the most? It's real, honest ingredients, done well. They have a huge variety so even if you prefer other treats, you won't be disappointed.

This small shop has a variety of baked goods with focus on cupcakes and chocolate covered items. Along the sides of the shop are packaged items that are priced individually like chocolate covered oreos decorated in themes like superheroes or winter. There is also a display case at the order counter where you can see a variety of cupcakes, some cookie options, and more chocolate options. The staff were patient and helpful and we were soon able to make our selections. It isn't the widest variety of baked goods around. I didn't see a lot of pastries here. Also, at the time of my visit, there were only a couple of each type of cupcake on display. Don't worry, they have plenty in the back if you want more of a specific type. If you have a sweet tooth, stop on by to see what may grab your interest. They are located in a stripmall so there is plenty of parking available close by. Review #3497

Super disappointed. Ordered 8 cupcakes for my daughter birthday two days in advance on Uber Eats. Order was accepted for the delivery window of 2:45 - 3:15 PM on her birthday. Guess what? At 2:47 PM I got a note that the order was canceled because this store was unable to fulfill the order of 8 cupcakes that they accepted 2 days ago. Seriously?! I drove to Market District and bought a cake there instead. I never got any apology note from the store. It was simply "you order was canceled and you were not charged".

Decided to stop by after shopping at Fresh Thyme! Great variety of cupcakes which I expected! My daughter picked a chocolate cupcake, which she absolutely loved. The real surprise find were the decorated Oreos, we picked the Valentines theme ones but they had a ton to choose from. Great cupcake place if you're craving one, better than flying cupcake in my opinion.

Family run business with delicious treats! They have cupcake balls, mini cupcakes, big cupcakes, cookies and more. The cinnamon cake ball is a personal favorite! We've used them for mini cupcakes for kids birthday parties and pleased every time!

When I pay more than $2-3 a cupcake I prefer fancier packaging than what I'd find at a Kroger :/

Like a cupcake, I'll make this review short and sweet: Perks: +Bought a Groupon - which made my purchase pretty cheap! +Friendly and seemingly family owned! +They're cupcakes. Enough said. Bummers: +They bake only certain flavors on certain days, if you're picky its best to call ahead or check the website to see what's available! +I like my $3 cupcakes to be as cute as a button AND come in a cute box. Mine looked appetizing -- but not adorable. ;) +I got 3 different flavors and the frosting all tasted the same. +Not sure these are worth the calories. If I'm going to splurge, it better not be forgettable and these kind of were.

A beautiful two tier cinnamon and carrot cakes with buttercream icing and fondant flowers for a lovely baby girls baptism.

It wasn't even fresh out of the oven, and it still melted in my mouth. Light, soft, perfectly glazed... I knew right then I was in trouble.
