Shout out to staff member Olivia for helping out my niece and nephew with redeeming their birthday Bundt cakes! I love that about NBC. The store was busy on a Sunday afternoon but the staff were actively moving making sure everyone was taken care of. There's also so much to look at around the store while you wait (little gifts and decorations). My nephew happened to ask if he can get the cake without the frosting (literally a NOTHING Bundt cake lol) and Olivia said she definitely could. Came out nice and hot from the back. I was in town for a hair appointment and was so happy Nothing Bundt Cakes was located in the shopping center near by. I walked in and the shop is super cute with so many cute gifts for sale. The store has a display that showcases everything available to grab and go. I selected 3 bundtlets to bring home, two of them were feature flavors. I grabbed a confetti, the Reese's PB and the banana pudding cake. The employee was super nice and patient as I was making my final decisions. Got me bagged rang up quickly and i was on my way pretty quick. They do online orders and I assume phone orders as well as catering. Now to the cakes, each one was moist and flavorful. The frosting and filling was sweet but not excessively sweet and the cake was light and tasty. It was my father-in-law's birthday, and I placed an order for pickup for a confetti cake with birthday designs. I sent someone else to pick it up, and they mentioned having difficulty locating the cake at first, but eventually they were given one and left. When they brought it out, we realized it was a completely different flavor. Although the note on the cake clearly said "confetti" and it had the correct birthday design, the cake itself was actually Biscoff cookie butter. I understand there may have been some confusion, and I also acknowledge that it may have helped if the person picking it up confirmed the flavor before leaving. However, it was confusing since the cake was labeled as confetti but turned out to be a different flavor altogether. They're cakes really are the best, I've usually just had them from when others order them but I decided to order some cupcakes myself for my sons 8th birthday. I got 12 cupcakes, mix and matched flavors for just 40$. Not bad. My only complaint is I called ahead to tell them I would be there an hour early and they said that was fine they would have it ready and it still wasn't. Lol no biggie though. Still worth it. On a side note: as I was waiting a teenage kid walks in with a bouquet of flowers and asks for his mom, he waits (looked so anxious), she comes out of the back with the most shocked looked on her face and gives him the longest hug and bursts into tears, then I start crying too lol. Stockton continues to surprise me. Who knew - Bundt cake was here? I ended up with a whole Red Velvet Bundt cake for my nephew's birthday large enough, to serve about 12 or more. Everyone loved it and said it was super moist. Service was great and quick. She even gave me the "Happy Birthday" flag to place on top of the cake. I did ask if they can customize the name for a birthday cake, the nice lady said they are currently not offering this. If you need to buy a last minute birthday cake, this might be a good option especially for if red velvet is what you are looking for.
