Love coming here to buy treats to share with family, friends or coworkers! I always tend to just grab items that have taro flavor but I also enjoy their white macadamia cookies and milk cookies. Have also bought cakes and they are always moist and flavorful. You gotta try mango (and taro, of course!) Jasmine milk tea is my go to but also can't go wrong with any salted cream flavor. I've been a regular I'd say. Strawberry matcha has always been my go to drink with light ice. The kiosk doesn't give you Options to customize the ice in your drinks. I asked the girl who was making matcha (hey so sorry could you please keep it light ice, she proceeded to remove some ice cubes from my drink and in the MEANTIME the other girl brought a big blender jug full of strawberries and she was blending it to make fresh puree?) the girl who made my drink, she put literally little to no strawberries in my STRAWBERRY MATCHA... when I told her to have light ice in my drink, I apologized for inconvenience and I appreciate her service yet she not ONCE said it's okay or accepted my gratitude. She then proceeded to seal my drink without adding enough strawberry puree in it. I also bought a cake and the guy was very kind and patient when I had told him to switch the cake to another one and he did it without being disrespectful or pissed. I really don't make the workers/ servers feel bad but the matcha girl was a very pathetic person to be served by. She was not giving a free drink or so, I paid for something that I didn't have the pleasure to enjoy it as I used to do always. Unfortunately, I brought the drink contemplating if I should ask her to remake it, but given how rude and Stup!d she was, I didn't bothered and ended up throwing my $6 drink down the drain in my kitchen sink. I hope that girl gets the karma, I hope she gets to spend money on her favorite thing and somehow she doesn't get to enjoy it. I feel so bad for being nice to that ......! I feel so grateful for the guy who switched the cake without any hesitation, I really hope he gets best deals with anything he gets. I stopped by to visit this cute little bakery shop. And I'm so glad that I did. They have such a variety of baked delicacies. I had a hard time choosing what to get. I got the marble taro which was perfectly filled with taro. It was lightly sweetened and tasty. If you want something sweeter then I don't recommend this one. I got the milk butter puff. The filling tasted like vanilla whipped cream. It was very yummy. I got the 6pc taro rolls. They were made out of puff pastry topped with sugar crystals which made them crunchy and deliciously sweet. And the last thing I got was the walnut crumble. It was like a walnut slightly sweet bread topped with powered sugar sliced in half with sweet cream frosting filling. Every time I walk into 85°C Bakery, it smells amazing--fresh bread everywhere. Drinks are solid too, and I usually get the Vietnamese coffee. This visit was about three weeks ago (can't remember the exact date), just realized I never reviewed it. Service that day wasn't great--staff seemed more into chatting with each other than helping customers. I get it, work should be fun, but when people are waiting and drinks are taking a while, it shows. Still, love the place and I'll be back. This 85 is just as good as others I have been to. The service is quick and friendly. However, they forget to put boba in my drink like 30% of the time. I am addicted to the seasalt hot matcha half sweet with boba so I am forced to live with the disappointing realization of boba being forgotten some of the time. Otherwise it's good. 7/23/25 - Late this morning I was able to browse around in this bakery. A close friend of mines came to my home with these delicious treats and I told her that I had not been there yet. She told me I must go, so here I am!!! They still had a lot of baked goods left after 11:00a., and not very many customers so I could really look & choose. I went in to get my favorite bakery treat which is a cheese danish but they call it cheese bread. Unfortunately, they were out and were nice enough to double-check in the back, the cashier says they bake all day!! Well, anyway, my eyes saw the case with this beautiful coffee & crème brûlée' cake just waiting for me. I had to get it or my day was not going to go well!!!! It was only $4.15. Later on I was able to get a forkful of decadent, delicious cake. I cannot wait to get that again and I will try their strawberry and crème pastry they had on the first aisle and possibly a coffee depending on how warm it is. Browsing the pictures on here it looks like they have a pound cake, I hope so!!!!! I will go early enough to pick up my cheese bread too!!!! The bakery was nice and clean, the staff were very helpful and that's a plus for me. The presentation of all the baked goods was excellent and from what I saw the prices were not bad. I took advantage of their 50% off mango drink, today and chose the mango strawberry smoothie. I was very disappointed. You could barely taste the mango-it was bland. Lifeless. And meh. As I was waiting for my drink, one worker threw down her bag of coffee onto the counter with a loud bang. Sheesh. I knock 2 stars for the service and set up. Service is just okay, staff doesn't seem too welcoming and I get that they're busy but rushing customers at check out isn't the way either. Then the set up is half ass backwards. After paying you then have to go back and walk through the crowd of people picking their items to exit. Now the breads are always fresh and delicious! They are constantly bringing out new ones so it's rare that they don't have whatever it is you're looking for when you go. One of my favorites. I definitely recommend if you haven't been. read more

I used to really enjoy coming to 85°C, but lately it feels like the quality is slipping--especially with the drinks. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee today and was seriously disappointed. The cup wasn't even full, and it tasted more like watered-down sugary coffee than the strong, rich brew it's supposed to be. Barely any ice either, which just made it worse. This isn't the first time I've noticed a decline, but today sealed it. It's frustrating to see the standards drop like this, especially when it used to be so consistent. This place is more than the breads they sell. They have cake, cookies, and drinks. A one stop shop for your carb cravings. I go here in the morning right when they open where the breads are fresh and the crowds are mostly non existent. I have my usual which were: Ube bread - with nilla wafer toasted on the bottom and sweet ube filling. Choco bun- round and soft chocolate bread with chocolate filling. Milk pudding- custard filled japanese style bread. Pork sung bread- chiffon style cake with whipped cream filling topped with pork sung (pork floss) that is a delightful mix of both sweet and savory. Matcha choco bun- matcha bread dusted with matcha powder. Filled with both matcha and chocolate cream. These breads can be paired perfectly with my go to drink as well which was the Matcha sea salt Latte (hot). The Sea salt cream on top with the matcha never failed to give me the morning boost I always needed. Make sure to always go early to have all the breads selection. They can get scarce later in the day as the crowd gets there. I love their breads and I miss their squid ink with mozzarella cheese filling though. The outer part of the Danish had a nice flaky texture, while the bottom tasted like an apple pie crust, offering a variety of textures that complemented the apple chunks well. The staff were friendly and easygoing. The interior of the bakery was pleasant and cool. The arrangement of bakery items was also interesting; plates are available as soon as you walk in, allowing you to fill them with whatever we wanted. Probably my most favorite include the mango coconut seasonal drink with coconut jelly, and fresh mango chunks. In addition, the Japanese style cream pastry called the Hokkaido Custard Bun is simply delicious. The pastry is so soft, and the custard is so creamy. The Mango cream bun, taro bun, and mango panna cotta are among other favorites. As are the Mochi egg custard tart. It's a self serve area, you grab a tray and fill it up. She skipped me while I was next in line, I told her that I was next but she gave me an attitude with her response.
