The Go-To Spot for Pastries in Stockton! If you're on a quest for the best pastry and drink run in town, 85°C Bakery Cafe is our absolute favorite. While we usually skip the cakes, the fresh-baked selection and signature sips keep us coming back every time. The Haul: * 85°C Roll: It's giving Porto's vibes! Flaky, buttery, and filled with velvety cream cheese. This is a permanent resident on our "must-buy" list. * Pork Sung Bun: Taiwanese bun with shredded pork and special mayo. This is my personal favorite. * Red Bean Bread: A classic done right. Soft bread with a sweet red bean center--this is my husband's top pick! * Chocolate Cookie Bread: A chocolate lover's dream with a crunchy Oreo crumb layer. * Sugared Cream Cheese Brioche: Light, airy, and dotted with sweet cream cheese. * Taro Roll: A flaky, buttery pastry filled with a smooth, subtly sweet taro filling. * Garlic Cheese: Soft, pillowy bread topped with a punchy garlic spread and a generous layer of mozzarella. Our Signature Sips: * Sea Salt Chocolate: My go-to. It uses semi-sweet Ghirardelli chocolate topped with their classic sea salt cream. It's the perfect salty-sweet balance. * Taro Lavender Latte: My Husband's favorite. Creamy latte with steamed milk, taro, with a hint of lavender and topped with that same delicious sea salt cream. The Vibe: The staff is consistently friendly and the turnover is high, so things are usually fresh. Just keep in mind that stock depends entirely on the time of day!

Mango Strawberry Smoothie! Very cold, creamy, taste and perfect for summer!!!

Well the food was just as delicious! I did get some of their savory items this last time but let me say? The petite cakes?! I can absolutely inhale them in one bite it should be studied at how fast I can do that lol I also love love love their BREAD their cheesy pocket with a mini hot dog in it soooo good! The service is just eh lately. I think because they are a bit burned out by the craziness of people carrying these trays with multiple items that might have something to do with it lol The atmosphere is busy busy busy!!!! Always busy from morning time to night time but everything here is so delightful it's completely understandable!! I'll be back and SOON for the petite squares!!

I ordered the Ube Cream Cake online to pick up at this location and got more pastries while I was there. My top 2 favorites for the pastries: Custard bun & Ube bread. Cake was light, subtle sweetness, exactly what I was hoping for. The only problem was that they said they didn't get my online order. Thankfully, I had a confirmation email and was able to pick up my order.

I stopped by to visit this cute little bakery shop. And I'm so glad that I did. They have such a variety of baked delicacies. I had a hard time choosing what to get. I got the marble taro which was perfectly filled with taro. It was lightly sweetened and tasty. If you want something sweeter then I don't recommend this one. I got the milk butter puff. The filling tasted like vanilla whipped cream. It was very yummy. I got the 6pc taro rolls. They were made out of puff pastry topped with sugar crystals which made them crunchy and deliciously sweet. And the last thing I got was the walnut crumble. It was like a walnut slightly sweet bread topped with powered sugar sliced in half with sweet cream frosting filling. The service I definitely recommend this nice bakery shop.

Absolutely love this place! I want to try everything! I picked the spicy sausage, taro, and the brioche cream. I love how they fill you up and they are so affordable! Service was nice and quick and the store is extremely clean and sanitary. Whoever thought of this idea is a genius. Haven't tried the drinks yet but I shall be returning!

Customized! Great way to sample all the cakes!

I took advantage of their 50% off mango drink, today and chose the mango strawberry smoothie. I was very disappointed. You could barely taste the mango-it was bland. Lifeless. And meh. As I was waiting for my drink, one worker threw down her bag of coffee onto the counter with a loud bang. Sheesh. The guy who gave me my drink also dropped down my drink with a rude "here" and pushed the container of straws towards me. What a bunch of unhappy workers.

    Grand Opening!!

I knock 2 stars for the service and set up. Service is just okay, staff doesn't seem too welcoming and I get that they're busy but rushing customers at check out isn't the way either. Then the set up is half ass backwards. After paying you then have to go back and walk through the crowd of people picking their items to exit. Now the breads are always fresh and delicious! They are constantly bringing out new ones so it's rare that they don't have whatever it is you're looking for when you go. One of my favorites. I definitely recommend if you haven't been.

I used to really enjoy coming to 85°C, but lately it feels like the quality is slipping--especially with the drinks. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee today and was seriously disappointed. The cup wasn't even full, and it tasted more like watered-down sugary coffee than the strong, rich brew it's supposed to be. Barely any ice either, which just made it worse. This isn't the first time I've noticed a decline, but today sealed it. It's frustrating to see the standards drop like this, especially when it used to be so consistent. How are they okay with serving drinks like this?

We always go here and it's the best. The service was great and the pastries are delicious. I also recommend the the hot dog bread sandwich thing. Tip: go on the morning so everything is fresh and hot

Vanilla Latte - 3.8/5: Solid and enjoyable. My overall rating leans closer to a 3.8 mainly because the service was slow and my drink order was initially messed up. The barista did correct it and even let me keep the extra drink, which I appreciated. However, I was also accidentally charged twice and had to get that adjusted. Overall, it's still a nice place to stop by for coffee, and I'd be open to giving it another try.
