Yesterday, while driving for Uber Eats, I went to Nothing Bundt Cakes to pick up an order. When I walked in, a woman named Emily who I understand may be the store manager was closing out with another employee. She clearly saw me enter and stand at the counter needing assistance, yet she walked away. I stood there for approximately seven minutes before a young man finally came out and asked how he could help. I explained that I was there for a pickup but also wanted to purchase mini cakes. At that exact moment, two white customers walked in, and Emily immediately appeared from behind the counter, eager to assist them. The young man told her that I was waiting, that I had a pickup, and that I intended to make a purchase. Emily responded by saying that "paying customers are the priority." That statement was shocking, especially considering I had already been waiting and had clearly stated I was also there to make a purchase. Good customer service prioritizes people in the order they arrive not based on assumptions. When I spoke up to clarify this, Emily came over and said she doesn't know when orders come in and offered me a complimentary water. I declined. By that point, her demeanor had shifted noticeably once she realized I was not who or what she had assumed based on the color of my skin. Her surprise at my professionalism, politeness, and articulation was evident. When I asked for her name, she understood the weight of the moment. I am deeply disappointed to have experienced such dismissive and racially biased treatment. Racism whether subtle or overt has no place in customer service or anywhere else. Women like me take up space in this world, and we deserve the same basic respect, kindness, and service as anyone else when we walk into an establishment. read more

OMG! This place is amazing. I stumbled across a Nothing Bundt Cakes table at a local carnival and decided to check out the store. I am sooo glad I did. The cakes are moist with a sweet cream cheese frosting. Literally everything that I tried is delicious. I stopped in recently to grab some bundtinis to take back to the office for my coworkers to try. They are already giving me their Thanksgiving orders. My personal favorite is pecan praline followed by the white chocolate raspberry. (I normally don't like white chocolate nor raspberries) with the lemon coming in at a strong third place. What a cute idea! I frequent the Gateway Shopping Center and just had to stop in to the Bundt shop to see what was happening. I was lucky to meet the owners who are extremely nice and genuine and even luckier that I got to try one of the samples that they had out! I purchased a Lemon Bundtlet to take home and split with my husband for dessert. As soon as I sliced into it, I knew it was going to be light, fluffy, and delicious. Slicing into it reminded me of slicing into Angel Food Cake. The taste is very good. I got lots of lemon flavor with buttercream icing in every bite. The bundtlet is perfect to split with someone or if you feel like indulging, keep the whole thing for yourself! I like that the bundts are different than your average cake order and would be great as holiday or host gifts! I highly recommend! read more

The order was a struggle from the beginning. Maybe I should have stopped then. While ordering on the phone I had to correct the salesperson three times, that I did not want my order on Saturday, but on Friday. I also stressed that I was taking it directly to my event. After the third time I corrected her, her tone changed and she became irritated and short with me. When I arrived, on time, to pick up my cake, I had to wait, while they found it? No one else was in the store so I have no idea what was happening. Finally, when I had served the cake and I tried it, it was ice cold and tough, as though it had been frozen. It was supposedly chocolate-chocolate chip, but it was bland and not terribly flavorful. I wrongly assumed that the cake would be fresh. A Sara Lee frozen desert would have been just as good and way cheaper. Way too much money for such a yucky experience. I'll never go back. read more

This is the only reason why I'm giving this location a low mark. I have been going to this location for quite some time. This location chose to give out a frequent card which gave you a free cake after 12 purchases of a bundtlet or cake. I was there last week and the woman behind the counter advised me they no longer are honoring the card. I was 3/4 way there! Sorry but that is the worst customer service! I get you want to stop the card but you gave them out and you should at least honor those that are out there! Cake is cake, but not really - these cakes are legit amazing! I don't mean the decorations or the frosting (although those are good too). I mean the actual cake is seriously delicious! I haven't gone to a party in about a year where someone hasn't brought bundtinis - everyone is obsessed with them! The store is adorably decorated with bright, sunny colors, and there are always free samples any time you visit. Facility is clean and bright and staff are very nice. Overall the cakes are good , moist and fresh tasting. The frosting taste fresh and just the right sweetness to balance with the cake. They sell whole cakes and also single serve small cakes. I tried the red velvet and the pumpkin. The red velvet was a wee bit bland and the pumpkin a bit on the spicy side. But overall both were good. I try to eat clean, whole organic foods for the most part. The only reason I give 3 stars is because they do not have organic options. And i'm lactose intolerant and the cake/frosting (buttercream) upset my stomach. So much so I only got through half of the single serve before throwing in the trash. I can eat some buttercreams and be fine and some not so much so, as was the case in this instance. Which led me to believe the cake ingredients and buttercream is most likely filled with lactose and other additives. We went there because my toddler daughter kept on tugging me towards the store window. We once went there on the opening day but due to the distance we haven't been frequenting the place. (It's amazing how the young ones remember stores that sell good sweets.) When we went in, there were some sample bite sized cakes that were wonderful. We ended up buying two of their mini cakes and some other accessories. Quite simply, one of the best desserts I have had in years. I decided on the carrot cake bundtlette, that had applesauce and pinneapple instead of the traditional raisins and carrots. What a find! I never like showing up empty handed to someone's home so I ran in and got the 8" White Chocolate Rasberry Bundt and a gluten free Chocolate Chip mini bundt. They were both fabulous!! You would never guess that was a gluten free cake because it was so in credibly moist and flavorful. The staff offered some samples while I was trying to decide which flavors to pick.
