This may be the only review I give this decade, but I believe it is deserved. I didn't expect anything special out of our home inspection. Just another inconvenient step in the process of buying our house, I thought. I've been thru multiple home inspections, with nothing of note to bring up about the inspector or their reports. Jon's inspection was different for me. I actually wanted to pay attention to his report. Jon didn't just perform a thorough inspection, but explained in detail all of the major concerns with our specific type of house and how our new house measured up. By the end of reading his report, I had 100% of the information I needed to make my home buying decision. I have never done a review before, but am taking time to do so now because Jon was so remarkable. He was professional and friendly. Beyond that, he was meticulous in his inspection and respectful of the current homeowners by putting booties on and making sure he didn't make a mess in their home. We felt like he really looked out for us and made sure we understood any of the issues regarding the home we were about to buy. He also explained if an issue needed to be dealt with right away or if it was just something that was a small cosmetic thing. The report came right away, with great pictures and details of exactly what might need repair. I had a few questions later regarding the property and called him. Jon inspected the home I am in the process of purchasing. It took him between 2-3 hours and he inspected everywhere. The final 42 plus confidential report he E-mailed to me on the same day. Jon was fantastic, explained and answered everything I asked of him. He showed me things I should be concerned about and took me around on issues that were important for me as a buyer to know. Jon was worth every penny I spent for his great services. He was friendly, professional, and answered all my sometimes dumb questions and even added many, many tips for me in how to solve some of the issues. I knew from the initial phone call that Jon was our guy! Super friendly and very easy to talk to over the phone and in person. I think that you can tell on that first phone call if you want to go with that person or not. I had a good feeling about him and he didnt disappoint! Even our realtor was inpressed!
