I had to get a replacement windshield re-tinted after the original was cracked during a cross-country move, and the replacement had a ton of defects that I didn't initially notice. Frank at Notorious Tintz does fine work. After agonizing over the various shops around the area, I went with NT because of its great online reviews. I had my civic tinted there and Frank did a great job. No bubbles, the tint fits perfectly (i.e. no light gaps), and he even did a decent job over the dot matrix on the rear window which can give lesser-skilled tinters troubles. In all, they promised I'd be out in 3 hours but completed the job in 2. On the flip side, their film selection (i.e. tint brands) was limited. They use a mid-range 3m film that is non-metallic. I wish they'd offer a wider selection, but 3m is a good brand and I'm happy with the end result. If you're looking to add tint to your windows, give NT a shot. It's a family-owned business and Frank seems to take pride in his work. read more

Simply AWESOME !!! Brought my BMW 650i X-Drive here for window tint after researching numerous local tinters. Frank and his wife do impeccable and beautiful work. Immaculate, large, clean, 2 bay garage they work out of. There is no other place I would trust leaving my pricey ride with white leather interior. Frank takes the time during install to bring you in repeatedly during install so you can see how well they mask off all electronics, cover the interior in towels and mats and your exterior even with pads wherever they need to approach the car for trimming film. Then they brought me into see progress and ensure I was satisfied with quality and darkness of film as it was being installed. Extremely conscientious at every step of install. Even unboxed my film in front of me so I could see that I was really getting the much more expensive 3M "Color Stable" film. Speaking of product line; They carry the full line of 3M films, including the top "Crystalline" film by 3M (the only installer I found that has this film) and the "Color Stable" film as well as "FX Premium" by 3M. He also has the ASWF product line if you are not a fan of 3M. Frank has been doing this for 30 years, and his skill and experience shows. His installed pricing for equivalent film that you would find at a place like "Ziebart" was a good match too. So regardless of how much you want to spend on the actual film, from economical to high-end - I would come here for the decades of experience over the high-turnover installers at a place like "Ziebart". Go with Frank and his wife and you will NOT be disappointed. He also does high-quality wraps,. I had opportunity to inspect a just completed Mercedes he had wrapped in matt black - phenomenal job!. This is the only company that I will let touch my car when it comes to customization and window tinting. I've brought four cars to Notorious Tintz over the years, and I've never had an issue. The tint film that is used holds up year after year with no bubbling, peeling, or fading. They do custom wraps now, and I'm tempted to try it out! With the custom wraps it gives me another reason to buy the Jeep that I've been wanting and get it wrapped matte black, but that's a story for another time. Don't waste your time and money and possibly damage your car by going to a competitor. As the saying goes, 'you pay for what you get', and Notorious Tintz doesn't disappoint. I was looking to get my car windows tinted and looked around some forums to find some good leads and this place was mentioned a few times. I called them up for a quote and they gave me $170. Now I know you can find some back door shop in the shady parts of town, but I didn't want some chop shop deal. I think it's worth spending a couple extra bucks to get some good quality tinting, i.e. no cracks, peels, bubbles etc. First thing I did was call up a bunch of other places, and I found out that this was one of the cheaper places out there. I have an 08 Altima Coupe, so it's a newer car and evidently it's a bitch to tint. The rear window slants a lot and there is a huge dot matrix on the top of the window. It's like 6 inches. A lot of places mess up this part because it doesn't stick as well so you get a very white looking tint. The whole process took about an hour, and they had direct tv which helped pass the time. He made sure I understood the law, which I thought was a good touch. Basically, I was a little worried, but when I saw the car, it was a phenomenal job. I got a tint from here almost two years ago. They told me it would be done in two hours. It took them one hour and forty five minutes. They did my back five windows on my BMW with the limo tint.
