GP, which is 45 mins away from my home, and an hour in traffic from my work, quoted me a flat rate with parts and labor included, which was $20 more than a shop in my neighborhood. The removal and install was fast, and the gentleman was very professional. My bill was actually $20 more than the flat rate quoted. Therefore, I ended up paying $40 more than I would have paid had I gone to a local shop, 1hour 45 mins driving, and a 1/4 tank of gas. Pricey lesson learned. However, I'm grateful that my windshield is fixed before winter. I recommend this location for folks who live in the area. It's clean with a comfortable waiting room. Also, if you're low in cash, make sure you know that "flat rate" doesn't mean the same to everyone. It seems silly and nonsensical, so I finally made the decision to get the rear passenger windows tinted. Overall we had a great experience. The appointment was easy enough to schedule, and they were very prompt once we arrived. The man at the front desk was very friendly and informative. He walked us through all the various grades and asked us what our goals were and matched them to our interior. At no point did we feel like we were getting upsold. We were walked through what matched our needs and no more. The experience was a great example of how a strong business can operate and everyone feels satisfied.
