Vam venir amb la meva dona aquest febrer amb la idea de trobar un restaurant per repetir sovint, ja que hi passem habitualment per davant. Malauradament, l'experiència no va estar a l'altura del que esperàvem.
D'entrada, no tenien pa, cosa que ens va sorprendre força i va afectar el dinar. De fet, quan ho vam comentar, ens van dir que si en volíem podíem anar a comprar-lo a fora, una resposta que vam trobar bastant fora de lloc.
A més, al final hi va haver una incomprensió amb les postres: em van preguntar si volia crema catalana, vaig dir que sí, però el que em van portar era un tros de pastís en lloc de la crema catalana tradicional. Quan ho vaig comentar, em van dir que no ho podien canviar.
Dit això, també cal reconèixer els punts forts: la cuina va ser ràpida.
Per tot plegat, és una llàstima, però no hi tornarem.

We came with my wife this February hoping to find a restaurant we could visit regularly, as we often pass by it. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations.
To begin with, they had no bread, which surprised us quite a bit and affected the meal. In fact, when we mentioned it, we were told that if we wanted some, we could go and buy it elsewhere--something we found rather inappropriate.
In addition, there was a misunderstanding with the dessert: I was asked if I wanted crema catalana, I said yes, but what I was served was a piece of cake instead of the traditional dessert. When I pointed this out, I was told it couldn't be changed.
That said, it is only fair to acknowledge the positives: the food was served quickly.
All in all, it's a shame, but we won't be coming back. read more
