They are the best dentists! I am usually very scared about going to get work on my teeth. But Dr. Nourian is very gentle and quick which makes it stress free when dealing with my teeth. Both dental assistants are very sweet and seem to really care about me while I'm there. I love Dr. Nourian! I've been to many fancy schmanzy dentist offices from Beverly Hills to midtown Manhattan... and they were always trying to upsell me. I'd come in for a checkup and the next thing I know they were trying to convince me I needed to spend $5,000 in straightening or whitening. Dr. Nourian has years of experience, and he always tells me the truth... what's important... and what's not. Also, he doesn't pass off cleanings to some associate... he does them and they're amazing. I would give him negative stars if i had the option. They did a very bad job for my mother.This happened to my mother. The doctor fixed their teeth and transferred my mom to the fungus on both sides of her lips. We also told the doctor that he does not want to accept. I complain a lot about them. I have a very bad experience with this doctor! I needed a crown for one of my front teeth, after confirming the color of the crown and matching it with my own teeth color, after waiting about 2 weeks they got me a very different color! When I complained, the doctor got mad and told me that I chose this color!! And When I went to this dentist's office for the second time to get my teeth fixed, he showed me the same crown as last time and insisted that this is a new one and same color as my teeth! I went to the laboratory myself (which was not my responsibility) to get a crown that matches my teeth color. For a simple crown, I waited a month to get it done at this dental office! Also, the filling that this dentist did for one of my teeth, fell off after only 6 months and he said that my tooth is broken and I have to pay $1,400 to get it fixed! So I went to another dentist's office and she told me that it's only the filling that has came off which would cost only $215 to fix! I would not definitely recommend this dentist because he would charge you for the things that insurance covers and make you pay more than the actual cost out of your pocket! read more

You like your teeth??? Run and never look back!!! I am amazed by these good reviews. I got referred by a friend. I initially went for a check up and they told me I have plenty of cavaties. Now I understand my share of blame but they me feel very bad about myself. What is the issue here though is that they completely screwed up my teeth. I am talking losing a tooth for their screw up. First when I went to a different dentist I didn't believe what they were saying until I showed my x-rays to two other dentists as well and they all concured on what a messed up job this guy have done. Highly unethical/borderline scam. He had his assistant (who I don't think she was even a dentist) to fill up my cavaties. I can write an essay on the ways this guy is borderline scam. My husband and daughter and I have been going to Dr.Hormoz for years. He is an excellent dentist. Very fast and honest! He doesn't try to nickle and dime you like some dentist do..seriously we came to this dentist after using Dr.Kanani who was literally the worst dentist in the world so we are beyond thankful for this man. Dr. Nourian is an amazing dentist. I have been going to him for over 20 years. My whole family has. He removed my wisdom teeth and I was still able to take my law school exams the next day. He does amazing cleanings himself no hygienist, and when you need to see him his office always gets you in. He has filled several cavities I have never had any problems. I can't think of anything I hate more than going to the dentist. As a matter of fact, I avoided going for years ...so when I came to see Dr. Nourian I was freaking out. To make a long story short, he made me feel very comfortable. He was very gentle, his shots did not hurt AT ALL, and I was in and out with new fillings in about an hour. Dr. Nourian is the absolute best. He performed wisdom teeth surgery about 2 years ago and extracted all four out of my gums with no problem. I did not want to use an anesthetic so he numbed me instead. I honestly didn't feel any of the needles! He would explain to me exactly what was happening throughout the procedure. He even followed up on me a day or two after my surgery to see how I was recovering. Truly an amazing dentist who cares a lot about his patients. I recommend him to anyone and everyone. read more
