My experience with Jalpa was amazing! Not only does she simply have a great energy about her but she has this way of making you feel extremely comfortable. I had never done reike before but im all about holistic methods and spiritual healing so I was eager to try it. Before my treatment, I wasnt really stressed. I operate pretty well in chaos as doing a lot at once is my normal but I was shocked at how much she felt in our session that I was actually holding on to! Before I started my monthly Reiki sessions back in August 2019, I felt stuck. Like something was inside of me and I needed help to let it go. It was this constant battle with fatigue, anxiety, mental fog and shutting down.  After my first session, I felt like I opened this box and everything came flying out. I came to Jalpa because I was beyond tired of decades of not being happy with how I looked or felt. No matter what I did- whether I was healthy or not in terms of my fitness, my weight, my mental state- I was rarely satisfied. My inner dialogue was exhausting- it never shut off. It was sapping my capacity to do something more productive. And what really moved me to act was that I am not getting any younger. So things that used to 'work' for me were no longer working. I reached out to Jalpa to help me out with my weight loss journey but little I knew that she would offered me way more than that. I was at a very low point in my life, I had very low energy, very sad, disconnected from myself and with 15 pounds above my average weight. Full Moon Retreat I honestly wasn't very sure what to expect when I signed up for this retreat because I had never done anything like this before, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Jalpa is such an incredible soul and she went above and beyond to create a warm, special space for everyone there to feel comfortable enough to embark/continue on their journey to heal and connect with our higher selves. I was so surprised that I was able to connect so quickly and so deeply with each and every one of the amazing women that attended the retreat, since most of us were strangers to one another before the retreat. Being in the mountains, nestled in the surrounding nature, with your sisters holding space for you is an experience that I didn't even know my soul was longing for. One of my favorite moments from the retreat was the outdoor bonfire with an uninterrupted view of the full moon. Full moons are a time to release what no longer serves us, and is exactly what we did with the bonfire ceremony. Another special moment was the day-hiking. The hike really allowed all of us to connect with one another while being out in nature. It allowed me to take that pause that I often forget to in my regular day-to-day. Jalpa's sound meditations and reiki are so powerful and transformative. I found myself in a completely different state of mind after each of the sound meditations. I Love Japla! She is a high spirited ball of light. I would use the term superwoman for her because she truly is gifted. I went to see Jalpa during the beginning of my spiritual awakening. I really wanted to let go of my past and so I learned of Reiki. I did heavy research on finding the right person. I chose to work with Jalpa in order to find a natural way to help treat my symptoms associated with polycystic ovary syndrome. I have never had a regular period and was told by multiple doctors that the only way to find regularity would be through the use of birth control pills. I ended up taking birth control for a few years but stopped about 5 years ago, since then I've had my period only a handful of times (never consecutively). I'm not one to take any over the counter or prescription drugs so I felt incredibly stuck within my situation. In addition to PCOS, I sought out Jalpa's services in order to fine tune my eating habits and assist me in losing weight. I eat very healthy in terms of what I put in to my body- all organic, nuts, rarely any meat, no dairy, super light on any gluten/carbs, vegetables, greens etc. Although I eat well and don't drink alcohol I weigh more than I ever have in my life and wanted to regain control. I had asked Jalpa to do a reiki session during the pandemic with my mum and my sister as we were all in different places in the world and we wanted to do something that would connect us. Before taking my first Reiki session with Jalpa, i was only vaguely familiar with the concept of reiki and therefore did not have much knowledge about it. I went to Jalpa for coaching in nutrition and for Reiki services. I was prompted to seek help with my nutrition due to my thyroid dysfunction. The symptoms I experienced from not having a healthy clean diet in place were anxiety, stomach upset, no consistent elimination of wastes, and fatigue. In addition I would emotionally eat and was not able to recognize this on my own. ​ I noticed a difference right away with incorporating the probiotics. My energy level was greatly improved with blending healthy smoothies via Jalpa's recipes. I got diagnosed with Hashimotos earlier this year and was feeling anxious about an autoimmune diagnosis, overwhelmed, and fatigued. Although I am an RN, I was looking for an alternative solution because I did not want to take medication for the rest of my life. Then, I found Jalpa. On my first session after performing reiki, she asked if I had a thyroid issue. Mind blown She knew nothing about me before but was able to "know" this by performing reiki. I had never done Reiki before so I was a bit nervous about the whole experience, but Jalpa made the entire thing so relaxed! As soon as I walked in, the environment feels very friendly and welcoming and I was greeted with a warm smile and a fun chat that made me feel more like I was out with a friend than at an office. She was super clear on explaining exactly what was going to happen in small bits so I knew what was going on the entire time. The majority of the session required very little of me and I actually ended up dozing off for a bit! The end of the session definitely provided me with the kind of insights that made me so glad I decided to do this. Where do I begin??!!! I found Jalpa on Yelp about a year ago. I was in a dark place and I took action right away and started looking for something that could help me. I came across Jalpa and I saw she had great reviews and also focused on nutrition (which she later explained that what I ate could possibly be affecting my mental health as well). She scheduled a call and right away I got great vibes. I felt excited to start my 3 month reiki/nutrition journey. After a few sessions I felt less anxious and less sad. I felt a sense of clarity (prior to going to her I felt foggy headed and a pressure headache). The pressure headaches started to go away and suddenly I was smiling again..I was feeling happier... Reiki with Jalpa felt like a conversation with my subconscious...no joke! I had never received reiki before but was immensely drawn to it. It's hard to find people you trust on your spiritual journey and you actually connect with and they actually know what they are doing. My experience was so powerful, I don't know how some people just fall asleep. Jalpa is so insanely intuitive yet so gentle and calming. She can sense and pull things up about what you're going through that i didn't even know I was actually experiencing in that moment until I stepped back. She can hold the space for so much healing energy, you can tell she's committed to constantly improving herself so she is able to provide more healing to those around her. She was able to bring to my attention past and present hurdles without judging but just offering a few different ways to open up and allow healing to take place for whatever called to me which I loved.
