Nuurvana is a fantastic acupuncture studio. I was an acupuncture virgin (who is admittedly petrified of needles) prior to my visit this week. Deganit's warm and welcoming nature immediately made me feel completely at ease. She listened to me intently and explained each step of the process before she did it. Deganit seemed perfectly nice and a very kind soul but I felt quite disappointed by my reading with her. From the very beginning it seemed she was fishing for information from me in order to "read" what was coming through and there were very key things about her reading that were just plain incorrect. I felt quite annoyed by the fact that I was answering so many questions instead of getting questions answered and it was evident her ability to communicate with me was solely based on how much information I was willing to give her. I originally came to Nuurvana (specifically Deganit) in August of 2016. My acupuncturist at the time recommended I give her sessions a try, because she knew I was working on gaining a better understanding of my tendency to absorb the energy of those around me, leading to unhealthy behavior in relationships. Underneath all of this was anxiety, fear, a history of depression, self-hatred and low self worth. Needless to say, I had A LOT to work on. I was at a turning point, and a trip to Nuurvana was the exact boost I needed to get real with myself. Since I started my work with Deganit (I write this less than a year later) I have started my own business, had a much more fulfilling experience in the dating world and have significantly changed my food and exercise habits. I went in for a clairvoyant healing session recently as I was recommended by a friend. I had been searching for a good intuitive healer since I have had some health issues over the past few years. So I was a little nervous about acupuncture at first. I mean needles aren't really my thing. But Deganit made me feel so comfortable. Sometimes we laugh through my whole session and the time just flies by. I originally started seeing her because of severe pain in my upper back and pain in my shoulder due to a lifting injury. Now the pain is all gone and it only took a few sessions. I think the most unique part of our sessions is the intuitive readings she gives. I have never experienced anything else like it. She can give you insight into ANY aspect of your life. Any question you have, she can pretty much answer it. I mean ANY QUESTION. Wasn't the smoothest start at first (mischeduling, lost recordings) but I can definitely say 5 years later she is one of the BEST things to have ever happened to me.
