That type of service is the stuff that created happy (and loyal) shoppers! This is a cute little shop on Rue Mont Royal, in the heart of the plateau, selling jewelry, cards, stickers, mugs, t-shirts, tea towels, mugs, and other fun gifts made by local artists and reasonably priced. I was so excited to finally find both of the items I was looking for, especially when I found out the reasonably priced accessories were also on promo. I started wearing the hat every day in the coldest month of winter. So, when I dropped it in the metro station and couldn't find it again, I was really upset, especially because I knew I'd bought the last one in the store. But Cuir Mont Royal saved the day! I messaged them on Instagram, and, within an hour, they'd responded that they would do everything they could to get me the same hat. Just two days later, they reached out to tell me they'd found it for me, and that they were reserving it for whenever I could come into the store. They were so kind, helpful, and attentive! Truly the kind of customer service you only find in a local business like this one. On top of it all, their selection is unmatched. They have a vast but curated selection of high-quality, stylish products for all budgets. They even have a selection of unique gifts that celebrate the culture of Montréal. I really like their designs but recently had a quality issue that wasn't resolved. I bought a ring…read moreand 5 days later a stone fell out. I contacted the store and they suggested I mail it back (I don't live in Quebec), it would be replaced, and I would be responsible for $15 shipping back to me. The ring was just over $100 + tax so with shipping ($25 to get it there and $15 back) it would have cost me about 30% of the cost of the ring to have it replaced. I completely understand it is up to me to get the ring to them, but I would have though that if a stone fell out after 5 days, they would have at least covered the shipping back. I have spent hundreds of dollars at the store and this has made me rethink future purchases as I am not confident they will stand behind the quality of their products.

There's the usual taxidermy of deer and other antlered species but here you can also find taxidermy of baby chickens- in individual little glass containers! As someone else mentioned, you do kind of get more drawn into the weird taxidermy than the vintage clothing, jewelry and home items for sale. They have an assortment of interesting vintage dresses, clothes and bags, most with a 40s, 50s and early 60s aesthetic. They had a very cool selection of vintage sunglasses.... But wait, what is that taxidermy thing over there.... I would not recommend this store to anyone who is the least bit freaked out by taxidermy, but totally worth a visit if that sort of thing doesn't bother you!
