We stumbled upon this cute coffee shop while wondering through old town and we are glad we did. Even though it is a bit narrow, it uses its space really well despite this. There is upstairs seating that gives a good overhead view of the shop, nice patio seating outside, and on the main level as well. The staff was very nice as well. They offered us a taste of the cold brew before we ordered it and some recomendations as well. The coffee was creamy and earthy and refreshing. Overall a nice place to grab a drink.

Cute coffee shop with some interesting flavors. I tried the curry latte which wasn't terrible but not my jam. They have some select pastries but I didn't try it as I was holding out for bagels which they unfortunately did not serve here.

I'm not that much of a coffee person but this place blew me away. First of all, the place is adorable and all the baristas are so nice. I was a bit skeptical at first because they didn't have a lot of food options but the coffee was fantastic. I ordered the London Fog Latte and it was delicious. It had a hint of Earl Grey but still had the classic latte flavor without being too sweet. I ordered it with little ice and I'm glad I got a cold version of it as I felt like the tea flavor was more evident. Genuinely one of the best lattes I've ever had. I would come back to get more of their different drinks. Also the upstairs is a great area to relax after you've been walking around the area for some time.

It's a cute small hole in the wall cafe with not a lot of space inside. We had the chai latte and hot chocolate. They were both okay, nothing that kinda stood out from the other drinks from other cafes. Props tho to them making at least a nice design. It can get a bit noisy so if you're coming to focus on work, it may be difficult. Thankfully we were the only ones on the top of the cafe but we could still hear people chattering loudly from the bottom of the staircase (whether that was the Baristas or customers)

These guys know how to pull a shot! This was a super cute coffee shop. Upper-level seating and a charming vibe created the feeling of a refuge from the outside world. My latte was made from a well-balanced espresso shot; in fact, I heard the baristas fine tuning the grind while I was enjoying my drink. I'd love to spend time here again.

A great local Cafe that makes a great coffee and very nice people. From just people watching, many people walking to work stop by for their coffee fix. A few stayed at the top area and enjoyed their coffee and snacks while here. Coffee is always pretty in Montreal. People kept on coming but the line never got really long. Highly recommend.

I am visiting Montreal for the first time and a friend recommended this spot. Unfortunately my 1 year of high school French gave no help as I tried to figure out what to order. I wanted a Latte but wasn't sure what flavors were available. When I asked the cashier, she wasn't especially helpful with my lack of understanding. I just ordered what she said was "spiced". Turns out I ordered a Curry Latte. I'm not a big fan of curry, but when I realized that is what I ordered, I didn't want to be that annoying American to change my order and ask more questions. So I just went with it.... and I'm so glad I did! It was delicious!! Cheers to trying new things :) Great vibe here including a record player playing great music. I enjoyed my latte and scone upstairs with a view of the street and people stopping in for their morning coffee to go. I'm only giving 4 stars because I thought the service could have been a little more helpful but everything else was 5 star!

AWESOME ESPRESSO! GREAT SERVICES! We know the coffee in Montreal is generally above average within Canada, and we had a few fairly good coffee during this trip. This café is by far the best one we've been to so far. Great espresso, great service, and great view!!! This is certainly a lovely way to start the day!

absolutely wonderful little place. coffee is delicious and the vibes are perfect! the staff was very friendly as well. if you're a coffee snob, i recommend you check this one out!

Solid 4 star quaint little indie coffee spot right in Old Montreal right off of Rue St Laurent, just outside of Chinatown - and walking distance from some of our favorite finds during our week long visit (see my other reviews!). While in Old Montreal, we taste-tested at many indie coffee shops (reviews provided!) and Paquebot was probably our (close) second favorite (to La Finca, Rue de Bleury). Paquebot was literally a couple blocks up the street from our hotel (Homewood Suites - highly recommend for it's super convenient location - walk to the Metro, Chinatown, St Catherine's shopping, the waterfront area and, of course, the Old Town social scene and nightlife!) so we did end up going to Paquebot multiple times during our stay just due to convenience. They also serve wines and have a food menu (including breakfast / brunch fare) as well as a decent baked goods case/display (see my pics). The coffee, lattes and cappuccinos were spot on. The food we ordered was good, some items worth skipping though (personal preference I know). Liked: * The apricot bar (in the baked goods/pastry display) was delicious. The little bar was packed with flavor, chewy gooey apricots, nuts and not too sweet which made it go well with our coffee drinks. * GET THE GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH. I discovered this item late in our trip sad face. It's made to order, hot off the grill and has an AMAZING FLAVOR PROFILE. Their take on the classic grilled cheese has a savory jam spread, ham bits and, get this, thin apple slices! Sweet and savory in every bite! So good. * Outdoor seating area was a nice touch. Pure sunshine in the morning right on Rue St Laurent for excellent people watching or basking in the sun. * Though small, inside seating is on the 2nd floor loft overlooking the ground floor of the shop. Very cute and vibey. But beware, this place is tiny so when it's crowded, it will feel crowded. * Super friendly service. SUCH NICE PEOPLE WORKING THERE. Constructive Feedback: * Not a fan of the Breakfast Wrap. It was a decent size for the price and it was made to order but I wasn't a fan of the ham "log" in it which looked and tasted processed, reminding me almost like spam. See my pics and decide for yourself. Again, a matter of personal preference. But imo, their Grilled Cheese is the way to go and will be just as filling but a better flavor medley. * Get your hot lattes / coffee drinks in a to-go cup instead of in their coffee cup/saucer. Their hot drinks aren't piping hot anyway and the wide rim of the ceramic cup, though beautiful, lets the heat escape quickly rendering the drink lukewarm pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong - the presentation in the coffee cup that includes latte art is instagram-able - but that's where it ends. * Service, as I said, is superrrrrr friendly and excellent - they'll even bring your order out to you if you're sitting outside (and they're not busy!) BUT, if they're even the least bit busy AND you've ordered a sandwich or menu item, expect to wait a while while they make it because their "back kitchen" is a small galley kitchen. Just sayin, don't be in a hurry, seriously. Overall, though, an awesome indie coffee shop that's worth the stop-in!

A delightful coffee shop a short walk up from the Old Montréal that my friend stumbled upon half by accident. Service is quick and friendly and they have plenty of non-dairy options. Like many coffee shops in Montreal, the interior is utterly gorgeous - and they have a small exterior patio which comes in very handy in COVID times.

Very trendy cool vibes! Cool antique decors, green vines and a nice loft to sit! Man behind the counter was super nice. The tea comes in a large press (2 cups worth) with fragrant leaves! Warming and delicious. Some vegan baked goodies... little dry but does the trick when you're hungry!

Apricot and honey scone, grilled cheese, chai latte

Great food options, friendly staff, and a beautiful ambiance. This was exactly what we were looking for for a quick cafe breakfast. We got the grilled cheese which was delicious with apples and caramelized onions. Staff was very friendly and accommodating as well!
