First time checking out Café Olimpico's downtown location on a busy Friday morning. The inside is small and cramped, but there's a bench outside. Went with a caffé latte ($4.50) with lait d'avoine ($1.00). Okay but tiny. Their latté freddo is better.

Coffee ice cream (cafe creme?) was 10/10 sooo delicious. Iced coffee slush was also 10/10. Very small portion. Place is very small and better to get take out. Benches outside. Staff speak English as well.

Great spot to grab a coffee! Coffee hit the spot! A little small space but it gets very crowded. Baristas were friendly and welcoming. Would return here next time I'm in town!

Café Olimpico truly lives up to its reputation and then some. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, authentic, and full of character -- the kind of place where you know you're about to experience something special. We ordered a hot chocolate, cappuccino, tiramisu, and an affogato, and every single item exceeded expectations. The hot chocolate was rich, smooth, and indulgent without being overly sweet -- pure comfort in a cup. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed with bold espresso flavor and beautifully textured milk, exactly how a great Italian-style coffee should be. The highlight of our visit, without question, was the affogato. It was hands down the best I've ever had. The pistachio gelato was unbelievably creamy, nutty, and flavorful, and when paired with the hot espresso, it created an unforgettable balance of temperature and taste. It was truly out of this world and worth the visit on its own. To finish, the tiramisu was light, perfectly layered, and not overpowering -- a flawless end to an already incredible experience. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and authentic. Café Olimpico isn't just a café -- it's an experience. Exceptional quality, consistency, and passion in every cup and dessert. Highly recommended, and absolutely a place we'll keep coming back to.

    Cappuccino & chocolate hazelnut croissant

I came in for a quick morning coffee and ordered my go-to cappuccino along with a chocolate hazelnut croissant. The barista was friendly and quickly prepared our order. The cappuccino was smooth and hot, and the croissant was packed with so much chocolate! After we arrived, a line started forming, so I'm glad we got there early and secured a seat, especially since it's a pretty small place. The cafe has a dark, moody atmosphere, making it perfect for a slow morning. Note: got engaged in Montreal hence the little green figurines. I took pics of all the spots I tried with them!

After hearing so much about Café Olimpico, I finally visited their downtown Montreal location -- and it was totally worth the wait! The coffee here is next level -- rich, bold, and full-bodied, just how it should be. I started with their Caffè Crema, which tasted like a coffee ice cream -- creamy, smooth, and just the right sweetness (4.5/5). Then tried the Caffè Freddo, which came in a small cup with crushed ice -- small portion, but unforgettable flavor (4/5). The Cortado completely won me over: strong, rich, and flavorful (5/5) -- honestly, the perfect espresso drink. I also got their Bombolini, which was soft and perfectly sweet (3.5/5). The café has such a warm, European aesthetic, though it's pretty small and crowded, especially during busy hours. The atmosphere is lively but a bit tight. Still, the barista was super friendly and funny, making jokes and giving off great energy, which made the visit extra enjoyable. The only downside? The drink sizes are small for the price -- but the flavor and quality make up for it. Definitely a must-visit for any coffee enthusiast -- I'd pick Café Olimpico over Starbucks or Van Houtte any day!

Came here for the first time while visiting Montreal. I was recommended this location specifically although I do know they are a chain. It was a very cold winter night but we specifically walked here because we had heard great things. The coffee was actually very good and we also got a mocha which was just as delicious. We also ordered one of their beignets/donuts (also very good) However, the barista/server was... something else. He seemed annoyed that we wanted to switched from ordering to go to "for here" - the place is quite small so there was not a lot of space but I had spotted a couple that was planning on leaving right after we ordered. Idk why that would have made such a big difference as no matter what we still ordered 2 drinks. The energy he gave off was just very rude and unwelcoming. I didn't go into another cafe olimpico again the whole trip.

Located near Eaton Centre, this coffee shop was low-key yet popular. The barista was very friendly and acted fast. Everything was fairly priced. We ordered latte, capcinno and ricotta cake - all good. Come here early to avoid lines.

I would give the coffee a 4.5 if I could. I would definitely recommend getting the remix if you like your coffee in the sweeter and creamier side. The inside is really cute and it's like an old coffee shop vibe. The people were also really nice and were happy to help with anything I asked. I got a latte this time and the hazelnut and pistachio bambolones. A lot of filling.

I had the remix and it was an absolute delight. Line was long but super quick. I tried the cannolis and they were beyond my expectations. It was a small location but the vibes were vibing even at 9a

My caffe crema was soooooo yummy!!!! Best thing I have had in Montreal so far. They have benches to sit outside! The TV inside was streaming a soccer game which was a hit to many people. The staff are very nice!!

The price is totally worth it with all of the toppings (red bean, mochi, kinako, matcha brownie, Rice Krispies). It's comparable to matcha maiko in the states, but much more reasonably priced.
