The shop is right on Fondren with plenty of parking available. You can walk in or make an appt ahead of time but they always have some availability. The shop is clean but there's no extra frills to distract you like at other shops. They have a few chairs and maybe 3-4 techs working at a time. They offer you a beverage and get right to business. Their prices are more reasonable and I really appreciate that 30 minute session they offer when you're on a time crunch. I was gifted to get my first head spa that opened out in Katy 2 years ago that was an hour long and the session didn't have me wanting to come back compared to my experience with Dovera. My experience for the 30 minute you are in your clothes and be prepared. Your clothes may get wet but nothing a blow dryer can't fix. My coworker and I enjoyed the herbal tea solution they rinse your hair with and we have grown to enjoy their herbal scents. The staff had such delicate hands, ahh just writing this I can still remember the feeling of the session. We did go when it was still new, but I still have it on my list to come back for the one hour session.

While plenty of other nail salons offer complimentary drinks, this is the first salon I've been to that has Vietnamese coffee! It's by far my favorite perk. I have been back 3 times already and the workers remember me by name. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional and personalized service. They have a wide selection of nail colors to choose from whether you're doing shellac, dip, or just regular polish. I've had different nail technicians each time I've visited and everyone is meticulous with their work but also works efficiently.
