I have been a loyal customer for a few years at glamour Lashes By Hannah. Hannah does my eyelash extensions. I have gotten pink eye from her establishment twice. Why I went back, I question every day. She doesn't change the sheets between clients, she offers a blanket every time that I know is not washed between clients, so I decline. She doesn't leave her chair when she calls her next client into her station. I'm not sure how she has time to sterilize her equipment; therefore, I don't think she does. This last time I went to her, I got a horrible infection that resulted in my eyelashes falling out. I have no eye eyelashes! The pain was unbelievable, so much so that I almost went to the emergency room. I couldn't sleep, my eyes were red and felt like they were bulging out of my head! I went to my eye doctor twice and thank goodness my eyes are okay and I'm grateful for that. However, I have no eyelashes! I questioned her in the past about the eye infections I've had and questioned her about her sterilization procedures. In her broken English, she told me she does sterilize between clients. I do not believe that she sterilizes her tools. I've have two friends who have also gotten eye infections from her. One day as I was waiting for my appointment, a lady was checking out and questioning the receptionist as to why her eyes have been so itchy and red the last time she got her eyelash extensions. That should've been my clue, amongst others, to not return. When I go to my nail salon, they open a package of tools that have been through a sterilization process. Hannah's business does not do that! Shame on me for returning and I learned my lesson the hard way. She did return my money, including my tip and offered me free eyelash extensions when my eyelashes grow back, really? I will never get eyelash extensions again. I'm grateful that my eyes were not permanently damaged. My eyelashes will grow back, but I will never get eyelash extensions again. Please be aware that it appears that Hannah is violating health codes. I have notified the health department. She could truly damage someone's eyes permanently! It's just not worth the risk. Hopefully she will get a violation and get her act together by changing the sheets between clients, bringing a new blanket in each time a client walks into her station and properly sterilizes her tools with the proper sterilization equipment. This is a disaster waiting to happen... I was lucky there was only my eye eyelashes and my eyesight was not damaged. Hannah, I've seen that you have responded to others who have given you a low rating. Don't you dare respond to this one with any excuses. Hopefully the health department will be knocking on your door any day now. I would suggest that you get your act together and sterilize your equipment and change the sheets! I went for lash lift & tint a couple weeks ago & I wouldn't recommend... i believe my eyelashes were over processed & can't even curl up straight they curl slanted now. I cannot speak on anything else this salon does I only went in for lash lift & tint. When I try to fix them sometimes they fall out :( & I would like to say that I didn't contact them or anything nor do I want to they simply messed up my lashes there's nothing they can do to remedy that with me. read more

I've been to Glamour Lashes by Hannah twice and definitely plan to continue to use their services. It's a very relaxing environment and the staff are nice. They also have a photo album to display levels of lashes. I love that you don't have to commit to a membership plan like some other lash studios and they have different refill options based on weeks. Ashley is my lash tech and does great work. They have massage tables and I'm amazed at her ability to do such a great job with the table vibrating. In the past I've never made it past two weeks without removing my lashes so that also speaks about her quality of work. Came in for mega volume and did not get that. In the middle of doing my lashes, I was told that they had to stop getting my lashes done bc they have other appointments coming in and my appointment was time consuming bc they had to take off my old lashes and Lynn who is a new technician took longer than anticipated so they wanted me to stop in mid visit to get other clients on time who were not black and didn't have to wait 40 minutes as I did. The disrespect and disregard was so hurtful and embarrassing. My lashes are so thin and already falling out. The front desk girl is so rude and racist she blocked my number and I haven't been able to make appointments for months I had to call from a different number to finally get through. Hannah had no idea why she hasn't seen me and I let her know about her front desk clerk being so disregarding and not helpful. They wanted me to pay 160 for this horrible service. I'm not used to being treated like this by Hannah but I'm used to her front office girl being so rude and manipulative. I warn all women of color to be mindful that they are not a black friendly business. I paid only 99 dollars bc of the labor but I really shouldn't of paid but I had more compassion and empathy and respect for Hannah's business but was not given the same likeliness in return. I didn't want to have to do this review but the truth is the truth. Racism in any matter needs to be addressed. Look at the pictures and it speaks for its self. I'm the black woman and the other photo is another client that is not of color They replied using a very old picture of me. I took these pictures of myself today to show that I did not receive mega volume and I have every right to not pay for what I did not get I only chose to pay 99 to be considerate of Hannah as a small business owner. But I truly did not have to pay anything. I never refused anything bc I'm not trying to pick a fight I just deserve the best. I've paid your business 100's of dollars. So I know what full lashes look like. I know the shame of being treated poorly for being black feels like too so trying to cover that and say I didn't have an appointment when I've been trying to contact y'all for over 3 months but it just so happens to always go to voicemail is a strong indication that my phone is blocked. This was my first time going to this boutique and I thought it was so cute! The location is perfect and easy to find. The inside is so adorable and they offer little refreshments. They have a book of the lash styles they've done in the past that you can look at while you wait. My appointment was at 5:30pm and by 5:31pm, I was already laying down. The table has built-in MASSAGING! Jenny did my lashes and asked what kind I was most comfortable with getting and I showed her a picture and she confirmed it would fit my eyes great while still keeping a natural look. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. My eyes never burned or got irritated (the picture is as soon as I got in my car). They were extremely nice and welcoming. My new go-to place for lashes! They discuss with you beforehand what look you are going for, and my lashes always turn out exactly how I want them. Lynn always does a great job, she is so careful and my eyes never feel irritated or water at all. I've been to other places where my eyes get so irritated because they aren't as careful. My lashes last about 4 weeks before I need to get them filled again. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other places. I should have given them a 5 star sooner. Always delivers exceptional service and customer service. They are accommodating and save my lashes from the previous time so when i come in they know what length I am looking for. The receptionist is always very sweet. Unfortunately, i was there when Erica A (customer below) was there and it was infuriating to hear her mistreat the workers there. I get Classic lashes, i know what Classic looks like -this customer walked out with a very full Glamour set but refused to pay that price. In fact, she even stated she didn't HAVE the 130 to pay for the Glamour lashes and all she had was $85. Then stated she would be back at 6pm so they could fill them in more - but refused to pay any additional charge. This woman's sense of entitlement was ridiculous. This place has the right to refuse service. Not surprised she gave them a 1 star. You cant go around not paying people for their time and service. Even after they waived her $30 lash removal fee. Any ways, This place is legit and they have a cute little set up. I ALWAYS fall asleep during the process, really nice. Get tons of compliments on my lashes. read more
