I've come here a handful of times over the past couple of months and tonight is the first time I've received a genuinely bad massage. The massage employee didn't apply much pressure and did some disorganized rubbing on my back with her forearms. I asked for a back walk a couple of times and she never did it. I asked for the massage to be harder and it just didn't happen. The person was obviously very inexperienced. I understand some training happens on the job but this was a full price hour-long massage. Another employee came in to redirect. I let her know I wanted to switch to 30 minutes instead of one hour since I hadn't been there long. They kept going and tried to remedy the situation. The other employee took over mostly but I was left very unsatisfied. In comparison to past massages here this was a huge let down. Nova Comfy Zone is one of the few places where you pay ahead of time and I always tip 20% when I come by. This time I wish I could've got my cash tip back at least. There are several other massage places close by. I want to think maybe the regular Nova team was just out on vacation today or something. read more

A few months ago I severely fractured my upper arm and I had to have metal and screws put in it and I just got permission to get a back massage for my doctor because I'm going to be under his care for such a long time. But my neck and my shoulder blade have hurt so terribly and have been in such a strain that my muscles are as hard as can be I can't sleep I never get any relief. I drove by and just saw this place and thought I'll just give it a try. The masseuse name was Coco. She was so fantastic she gave me a deep massage she found the muscle that was so hard under my shoulder blade that hurts so bad and she would pop it back and forth and she would not give up she stayed on it and putting oils and Hot rocks and after about 10 minutes that muscle is and when it did my whole body relaxed I just couldn't believe it I wanted to cry with joy. Then she rubbed my neck it was just heavenly. When she went down my back was feeling really good she kept going back up to make sure that shoulder blade was still in good shape, but when she went down the back of my leg the muscle and behind my thigh... When she pressed into it I saw Stars I had no idea that it was in such bad shape it was hurting so bad and I told her I couldn't believe it that she had found this spot again she rubbed on it until she got it out and feeling good I am 66 years old and I've had many massages but I have never had anything like what coco did. I would give her a hundred Stars. I'm going to stick with her I'm going to go every other week and I'm going to stick with it even after I'm healed I would suggest everybody just give her a try you really won't believe it and I'm sure all of them are good but I was just glad that I got Coco because I'm sticking with her I cannot wait until my next massage!!! read more

Sorry to say that I was disappointed and did not enjoy my massage this evening. It turned out to be more of a foot rub without the usual Reflexology or Accupressure techniques that I've come to expect. It wasn't relaxing at all and did not relieve any stress. It also didn't last a full hour though I didn't mind that as much since I wasn't enjoying the experience anyway. The young lady was nice and friendly but just seemed to have no real Reflexology experience. I have visited this establishment before and was very satisfied with the service-- which is why I chose to return. I just wish there was consistency in the quality of service. read more

Decided to try this place since it's closer to my house and my regular massage place is by appointment only. I've gone to all types of spas for massages and this is one of the best messages I've had; it is more of a Thai massage. You definitely have to go in with an open mind and not expect a spa but you'll definitely get what you need. She worked out all my knots, did a few stretches and used hot stones. For reference I prefer deep tissue / cupping and their pressure was perfect. read more

I'm a trucker driver. I walked in to Nova Massage in Duncanville on Wheatland in Jacquline assisted me if I tell you her customer service on up to her deep tissue massage was Phenomenal. Awesome. That deep tissue massage from the walk on my back the hot stones all over my body the stretches even the end the hot towels, I've had plenty of massages in my 44 years this is by far the BEST I've EVER had and for her to be a lady, the pressure she gave me and I'm 234 lbs The best . This place stunk and reeked of employees that hadn't showered in 3 days at the Duncanville location Saturday. This was the worse experience ever from a massage salon that I've been to. I paid for a 60 minute massage for $65.00. While getting my massage I fell asleep and was awaken by a woman speaking broken english saying "I had 35 more minutes." When she told me that I was done, I attempted to tip her and she said I needed to pay $40.00 more for an extra 30 minutes. I explained to her that I did not want an extra 30 minutes and I had only paid for 60 minutes not 90 minutes. I felt I was being hustled into paying more to add to her tip. I refused to pay anything extra for a service that I didn't agree to. She became furious and began insulting me with threats to call the police. I will never return to this location and beware of these people saying you have 30 more minutes because they are not telling you how much more time you have but they are about to hustle you for an additional 30 minutes which you are not getting, but being hustled into paying for. I hate to report that I did not enjoy my massage. I have come to this place on two occasions for a massage. The first time was amazing. There was a young man that gave me the massage and he was outstanding. I went again the other day and left in the same condition as I entered (stiff and in need of a massage). A lady worked on me. She spent most of her time standing on me and using her feet to do the massaging. I am not sure if she isn't good with her hands or not, but right now I am looking for someone to give me another massage. It's sad because I paid for 90 minutes. When she came into the room, she didn't have everything that she needed, so she left for awhile to warm the stones but she didn't make sure that I received that time back. The worst part is that after the massage, she had the AUDACITY to ask me for a tip. If you go, ask for the guy. If he isn't there, LEAVE! You do not want to be in my situation. I am about to spend another $100 for someone to do what she didn't. read more
